Renting a house for WSOP

Hey all, I'll be in Vegas for WSOP this year (hopefully 4-5 weeks) and I've always heard about these groups of players renting houses for the duration of their stay.
Do people generally just do this with their friends or is their a thread/forum related to this? I've recently made the jump to high stakes live tournaments, but I'm from a small Canadian town and my poker circle isn't very big.
I am very interested in this alternative as opposed to staying in a hotel the entire time. I guess I'm just not sure how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated.
