The numbers indicate what happens when you don't put in any effort to attract players. This was an excellent opportunity to attract Canadian players to attend as Stars has stopped hosting events in Montreal. They ran 1 weekend of Satellites on .com with no promotion and when they cancelled they abandoned ship on that front. This M.E could have easily drawn 100-150 Canadians with decent online offerings.
But Stars is obviously not willing to spend any money on these events and has delusions that their name alone will draw people. Not the case as 200 players in the ME is way less than possible.
