Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered, but I have never played poker at PH. For this series, when does registration open for each event (ie day before? time?) And where is registration held? I assume we need a Total Rewards card?

PH Joe,

Where do the guarantees come from? Are they funded by the casino or are you taking it from the cash game promo rake?

I'm fairly sure his plan is to have enough runners to cover the guarantee. So far he seems on top of marketing.

Your ad in current cardplayer has mystery rake. It just list the buyins with no explanation of fees.

Aria and Venetian have the same types of ads but its so easy to provide the information at the bottom of the page.

You're going soft Allen. I though print advertising wasn't "Chainsaw-approved" unless it listed the rake/fees breakdown at the top of the page, in bold font.

Anywhere on the page is fine. Sadly that rarely happens these days.

Joe_P, are the 9pm events something you are running just during the series starting June 6, or do you run those all the time? i.e., do you have a weekly PLO event all the time?

Thanks

Lol so you are just traveling from thread to thread putting every player down who has even the smallest complaint/request/wish? We know that the casinos can do whatever they want. No need to bully those who voice some criticism anyways.

We do have a weekly PLO tournament in our room on Monday nights at 9 PM. $65 Buy In, $1K Prize Pool Guarantee.

We also have Micromania! on Tues, Wed, Thurs nights at 9 PM with $1500 guaranteed in the Prize Pool.

Those tournaments will resume after PHPS V ends.

It can be anywhere on the page. Aria Venetian and planet Hollywood ads are all mystery rake this year.

How many more times are you going to post this? It's bordering on spam now. Others have expressed this to you, you make a lot of good points, but your delivery and excessive beating of the horse lessens the effectiveness of getting your point across.

Can the tournament fee transparency issue be addressed with the NGC?

Come now, I was simply expressing empathy for someone who is clearly suffering at the hands of the wicked, deceptive marketing folks at the casinos. And it seems I touched a nerve with you too. I didn't mean to. I hope you're ok.

Giant LOL at this. What if a casino put out an ad saying Thursday at 7 we run an Omaha 8 5/5 cash game and Sunday at 3 we run a 10/20 limit holdem game? Is that ad ok or do they hafta say how much they rake per pot?

Just because they are marketing doesn't mean they will meet their guarantees. There are a lot of tournaments going on during WSOP. I think it's a fair question to ask if the cash game players are subsidizing the guarantees or the house is actually guaranteeing the prize pool.

I'm not exactly sure what this means. How exactly are cash players subsidizing anything other than the casino's bottom line?
