Thanks. Very useful info especially for the larger venues though I am hoping at that point in my recovery it wont be necessary.

Tried the casino website, but they were so vague, really couldn't figure out if PH was going to be charging for parking during the summer. Anybody know for sure?

Thanks!

PHo doesn't appear on the "free parking" lists so I would assume they do.

Don't you get Diamond status for life for winning the Main Event? Diamond won't have to pay.

Only for a year as far as I know. Like any other bracelet winner.

They are not charging for parking ATM, but the parking is really out of the way, behind the shops.

Does anyone know or Chris if we can come to the cage and register for any event 24 hours a day? Or only certain hours and only in the tournament area we can register? Thank you.

Played in the 8PM event last night. I've never seen so many bitchy, miserable, tight-assed mother****ers at a $100 buyin table in my life. There was one loud drunk guy spewing, and probably would have rebought if they hadn't run him off the table. Also, the dealers kept screwing up, which just magnified the bitchiness. Not very encouraging for the rest of the series.

They've had dealer quality issues in the past. Hopefully its not as big an issue this year. And hopefully they've done some customer service training with their dealers to not lose their ***** if someone politely suggests they are making a mistake.

Seems Iike it may still be the case, dealers dealing for the first time ever.

Just like WSOP, probably best to avoid the first week.

As always, please DM us with the table number you are currently at if you have a compliment or concern to pass along and the staff will watch the table. The DMs go directly to me so I can assure you attention will be paid in a prompt manner. We can certainly correct situations on the spot.

I won't be there until the second week so hopefully any weaknesses will be strengthened.

Chris,

Can I withdraw from wsop.com in the same area as I would register for the tournament?

casino cage handles the WSOP.com transactions, GOLIATH is not set up for that unfortunately

I mean sounds like you're bitching about having drunk rec players in a game. Lol. Sorry you didn't get to play against Fedor and Mercier.

Greg, I just played an event there, and self-park is indeed still free. As you probably know, the self-parking makes you walk through half of the Miracle Mile mall, but valet parking pick up/drop off is right at the hotel. However, valet parking is $18 for 4+ hours of parking.

As for the event, they still have lots of teething problems. They started my event while the dealer was still making up chip stacks. They eventually did pause it after some complaints. We had one dealer that appeared to be dealing her first down. Then at the opposite end of the spectrum we had a Civil War veteran that moved so slow the first card had dust on it by the time we got the second card. We're always hearing about so many unemployed dealers in town, it's hard to believe this is the best they could do.
