Overlooked here is that the issues with dealers at PH were not SIMPLE mistakes. We are talking dealers that did not even KNOW the game. Somewhere, possibly in this thread, I detailed the issue with a rookie dealer in the O8 event that I don't even know if she knew NLH, much less something like O8. And that sort of issue impacts the number of hands you get per level in a substantial manner...

It contributed to my decision to forego other events at PH last summer. As a player, I have a right to expect dealers to have some working knowledge of the game they are dealing...

That sounds like the sort of thing that mixed-game enthusiast must just get over. I mean, if its hard to get experienced NLH dealers during the summer it must be even harder to do the same for mixed game dealers. If a particular venue is not doing a good job in their mixed game offerings, then there are certainly fewer alternatives. That is the price to be paid by mixed games being second class citizens.

I really appreciate all of the feedback and will work on the items I have the ability to control. Moving to structures of anything that basically isn't daily turbo. See below, key changes are starting antes at the 75-150 level, removal of the double 100-200 level, addition of 7K/14K/2K (level 21), and addition of 70K/140K/20K (level 32). Keep in mind that most of our events are 15K - 30K SS. Good idea, bad idea, or do you have a better idea?
