Would the property assist us in this?
I'm pretty sure we won't be able to help with this - it's a large undertaking and outside of the scope of the event.

There is a "built in" last longer for the Grand Prix Canada for the first 100 online Day 1 qualifiers, but this isn't part of the Million North America.

Just upload a photo, decorate it to your taste and share it - and you could win a Phase 1 ticket or even one of the grand prizes, a Day 1 ticket worth $5,300!

Also - if you can play on partypoker global - 10 seats GTD in the Satellite on Sunday - there was a pretty big overlay last Sunday, so there's a ton of value there.

Plus - there are online Phase 1s running on the same schedule as usual - Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Do US players have an equal chance at winning this?

That's a good question. I will confirm, but I suspect that because you would not be able to play a Phase 1 (the prizes are for online Phase 1s) that would be out of the question, but the Grand Prize is for a Day 1 ticket (see draw date from the official rules below) you could win that (you would simply select a Live Day 1).

I will confirm that info and let you know if even this isn't possible.

"Monday May 1st, 2017: One Day 1 entry ($5,300CAD value) into the partypoker Million North America."

Hey Carl - and others - Good news!

I have confirmed and in fact I was mistaken. The preliminary prizes are for Online Phase 1s, but if you can't play one of those that's OK, we will come up with an alternative of equal value that DOES work for you. And since it's based on random draws, if you play you have the same chance of winning as anyone else.

I was right about the Grand Prize - you would simply be able to select a Live Day 1 and use your prize to enter.

Is it possible to withdraw at playground cage with other skins of the network like bwin? Or is it only party that gives you this option?

Thanks

More about cage withdrawal at Playground:

Can you withdraw both CAD and USD at the cage? If not, will the exchange rate be competitive?

Is there a limit, and if so what is it?

After your last visit to the "cage" I thought you'd want a break for a bit

j/k congrats on competing and looking forward to seeing you back at it soon enough.

Not a rep, only been here 4 times... but I was here less than a month ago. They said it's USD to CAD only. Cannot cash out and get USD back. As far as exchange, was very competitive ... was 1.28 at the time, no fee. Highly recommend using their cage to get CAD when you come in with USD.

Thanks for that! My plan is to deposit USD on Party, play some satellites, and then if necessary withdraw from there to play live satellites at Playground.

I thought you had to be a residence of Canada or anywhere besides US to play online there?

This is correct - the currency used at Playground Poker Club is Canadian $$ so we will exchange to C$ and you can only cash out in C$.

There are a couple of things to understand about withdrawing from partypoker at the Playground cashier. For many people it is likely the most convenient way to go, but it helps to know going in that what's happening is simply that you're making a normal withdrawal request from partypoker. Whatever checks and such they have to do before releasing the funds are in place the same as any other withdrawal - the difference being that when the funds are ready, you can just pick them up in person, and yes the exchange to C$ will have been done as part of the process.

Make sense?

I think so -- but to confirm, the exchange rate I would be getting would be Party's USD->CAD exchange rate, not Playground's. Is that correct? The reason I ask:

Party is hosing us pretty hard on the exchange (both ends).

Correct - the currency exchange is built into the withdrawal from partypoker.

As far as the other question about other skins - basically if you can withdraw that via the partypoker client and their built-in withdrawal methods, you can route that such that you pick up the money here in C$.

That's between the player and partypoker. I believe they need some things to establish residency but that's not really in my domain. Basically if you're set up to play outside of the US you probably could be set up to play on party as well, but that's all post-Black-Friday stuff I don't know much about.

if u change ur party account currency to CDN, everything will be done in CDN meaning no FX fees on either end. this means if u deposit, do it in CDN as well instead of USD

1) For the Grand Prix, is there a Day 2 re-entry like last year when a lot of Day 2 entries salvaged the $500K guarantee?

2) If you have a live Day 1 stack from a Playground's Phase 1 and you play and win another entry tomorrow, can that second Day 1 entry be transferred?

3) Can online tournament dollars be used to pay live buy-ins at Playground, like at PokerStars Championship Panama, etc?

Hey Nash,

For #1 - no, there is no Day 2 Entry or Re-entry permitted in the Grand Prix this time around.

#2 - No online Satellite entry is transferrable. Additional Satellites will, at a player's request, be paid in T$ - or the player can reserve the seat in case she or he needs it to enter or re-enter in a Day 1 or Day 2 in the event. No Phase 1 seat may be transferred at all, live or Online. LIVE Satellite seats may be transferred as usual in Playground events, i.e., the transaction must be concluded at the cage (tickets are named) and done at least 2 hours before a tournament day starts.

#3 - partypoker T$ may not be used to buy in to events at Playground with two exceptions - they may be used to buy in to the two partypoker LIVE events in the Spring Classic, i.e., the Grand Prix Canada and the Million North America.

This is the streaming schedule:

1. Grand Prix Canada final table from 9 players to a champion. Delayed cards up with commentary.

2. High Stakes Cash game - 3 days during the festival, hosted by Sam Trickett and Antonio Esfandiari. Cards up stream 30 minute delay and being recorded for eventual cards up TV broadcast.

3. Million North America - feature table streaming with cards down on Days 3-4, final table stream with a delay and cards up for the final table (9 players).

How does registration on partypoker work for the $5k million event? If we register for Day1B and arrive a little late, is our stack live and being blinded off? Or do we start with a fresh stack when we get there?

Thanks

Excellent. I have over 30K hard-earned party points that I can convert to T$ before they expire worthless.

Nice stream schedule.
