I have 8K preflop and the BB (18K+) made an epic call earlier 15 -20 hands prior that made me give him huge respect. too detailedto explain, but one of the best reads and calls I have seen live in a while.

bb calls flop is Qxx 2 spades
he checks, I bet 1000 he calls
3rd spade on the river and he checks.
I bet 1000 to see where i am and reraises 3000

I have 5400 left. My thoughts are either he put me on two high cards and it is a bluff. Maybe he hit the Q on the flop or even two pair, but has a high spade. I feel like a big puss right now, if I call I have 2400 left on the river. If I reraise all in he's calling and i am either drawing dead to made flush or he has outs on the river (flush, two pair, etc).

The check raise on the turn got me all effed up. Maybe he out played me, in which case nh sir, but I don't know. In retrospect, if I check the turn, he bets on the river and I flat call, but that seems weak too on my part. It may have been the right move, but it tilted me off my game and I never recovered the rest of the tourney. Oh well that's poker

also RiLan, I know this poker room has not been open too long so I understand but his $350 was not run well at all. It was pretty sad to tell you the truth how poorly it was run. I am sure there are more but here are some of the things I can recall that you need to work on:

Not having a player and floor supervisor yell at each other back and forth for who knows how long. This was the most classless thing I have ever experienced in a poker room. I don't really see how that guy can still have a job after doing that and then refusing to leave the tournament area when told to because of his obvious temper problems. This guy was just totally out of line and not only did it slow down play a ton but it was soooooooo annoying to listen to.

You also need to work on your rulings. It was obvious that not everyone was on the same page or even knew the right rulings. One example is it folded to me in the small blind and i called. Big blind checked. FLop came and we went check/check. Turn was dealt and it went check/check again. Then the dealer informs us the turn was supposed to be the burn??? Now, I am not 100% sure but I think once there is two actions on the card that the card should stay. You guys ruled that the the turn was now the burn and to deal a new turn. Even if I am wrong and the turn does not stay, shouldnt it be reshuffled in?

There was a 15-20 minute stretch where there was no floorman present at all. Pretty laughable. We went 10 minutes into the next level without moving up blinds.

Hand for Hand play was not announced very well.

At the final table, I noticed the blinds went up and had to announce it to the table. One of the dealers standing behind the table heard me and then announced blinds moved up.

Just trying to help out so you can improve on these things in the future. Dealers were actually pretty good I thought too.

Okay that was you then. Iwas in the 3 seat and the 27 read was great. You won so you don't need me to tell you how good a player you are, but I could tell early you were good. Balancing aggresion with trusting your reads is something I work on. Glad my read was on. Look forward to playing with you again and congrats on the win. Chop?

First off sorry for the issue which occured during the $350 event.

As far as the ruling goes only two actions occured which was the check/check, either two people would need to place money into the pot or three actions. Seeing the check/check was the only action the turn card became an exposted burn card...and a new turn card would be placed.

As for the other issues you addressed...I will certainly look into them and assure you it will not happen again...Your comments are taken very seriously by me.

I'm here now, was upgraded to a suite for free, ship it. Probably nicest room I've stayed in ever, which says a great deal since I've stayed all over the place.

Yeah they ended up getting around 230 or so...MS had to put up around 240k or so to make the pool 750k...193k for 1st, 100k for 2nd, and 58k or so for 3rd...paying 30 spots with 6200 being the min cash...I just busted right after dinner break and I think there is like 170 or so left...GL to all those still playing!
