I gotta find a pillow somewhere in this town cause as everyone said the chairs are ridiculous

and then they didn't have enough space and capped the 200 satty yesterday

just hope it doesnt happen with the 700 today since the main, and the 300 are running

Hi All,

Thank you for the notes on the chairs, I've sent the complaint upwards. Starting tomorrow though (EPT Day 1A) we are in the conference center and will have different chairs.

Birs - 82 - We are aware of the allegations involved with that event and those players and the reactions of the poker community. However, I cannot comment on anything involving actions we may or may not take against any individual or group of players.

Neil , me (and certainly others) are quite upset at you guys screwing up the breaks in the 1k turbo (3 15min brks in 3hrs ???) but more importantly , at changing the structure to make it 1.5x faster (jumping the 6/12 lvl, the 8 /16, the 2.5/5k etc) without letting us know in advance or not listing the new structure for it somewhere in plain sight.

This is like old school bad tourney management antics and not something I wouldve expected after 9 Seasons of EPT ....

Can you please tell us the reasoning behind this, if any, and if the rest of the turbos will be altered in such way ? At least I know that Im playing a live super turbo and have a different strategy with all the idiots involved in them here.

and if you're gonna say "oh we started at 25/50 so we thought we made it faster later" please don't , you know very well that having an extra 25/50 instead of starting at 50/100 is nothinn compared to skipping 3+ important lvls deep in a turbo , thus making a world of difference in strategy

Also Neil, can you please tell us what is the difference between a regular KO Turbo and the "random bounty" one ? What exactly does "random" pertain to ? Should I be worried ?

Last time I played a random bounty event it was a 200€ bounty on everyone, and 1000€ on a few ppl, which you didn't know it advance. So once you bust someone the floor comes over and gives you either 200€ or 1200€
It was in season 8 tho, not sure if it still works the same way

Hi Ase,

The reason we sped it up is because that room had to be emptied out to transfer everything over to the new Conference space for the FPS to EPT change. The TD eliminated 6/12 and 8/16 but put in 7/14 as a hybrid level so only one level would be lost there and they took out 2500/5000. They announced twice over the PA that this would be the case and there were sheets up at the registration area and on the big structure board on the right as you made your way into the Tournament Area. We tried everything we could to make sure everyone was aware of the structure changes and anyone who didn't like the changes was allowed to unregister.

This was a one time thing and the other turbos will not be impacted.

The breaks are because Barriere has asked us to adapt the structures so they can have a break after late registration closes to reconcile the events.

The Random Bounty is exactly as Birs said, with a slight exception. It is €200 taken out of the buyin for bounties (800 + 200 + 100) with €100 of the €200 being used as an individual bounty and the other €100 being combined into as many €1,000 bounties as we can create out of the prize pool. So 157 entries gets 15 €1K's and a single €700 late reg. baby bounty.

Fwiw 1k turbo started at 50/100 not 25/50

Only change I got to see was it went 500/1k 700/1400 1k/2k instead of 500/1k 600/1200 800/1600 1k/2k
I actually saw on a break that the structure was on a board outside the room and it was the one they used but Idk why they changed it from the normal one

Was not happy either about the change in 1k turbo and the too many breaks. Didnt ear any announcements prior or during about it btw.

If it was to gain time, just skip breaks or make them 5min, you dont need 15min break to chipraise the 25s.

I know sheets were outside, but i just assumed it would be the same structure as usual.

kinda made the snap decision to unreg 1a yesterday as i had a car accident and was incredibly tilted by that but would like to play 1b now but need the cash i have on me to pay for the car-repair...

I could be missing them but couldn't you post all side event structures on the EPT site? I know PCA sides were but can't find the EPT deauville anywhere ?

Also having paper copies on that board to take with you would be great !

Neil, sorry to be a pest but when can we expect the EPT London Schedule to be released? I would really like to make travel arrangements for my upcoming trip which begins in only a few weeks at LAPC, and I'm sure there are many other players in the same situation.

He mentioned it had to be delayed until Deauville is done, and will be posted on next Monday

Also , chris, all the structures for all sides ARE on the EPT page, just look for the "Structures" link on the left side menu, under tournaments
