Will online buyin through this website be available for side-events the daybefore/dayof the tournament?

or do I have to register online in advance some amount of days, such that if I'm not sure what side events i'm playing due to potentially still being in another tournament, it won't quite work

Still not had any success with that number, got to speak to someone and they said they couldn't find my reservation but they gave me an email address which will hopefully get things sorted: deauville@lucienbarriere.com

Can't understand why there is no regonline it would have made it a lot easier.

Hi All,

I'll be much quicker with replies once I hit Deauville on Wednesday, travelling around tons at the moment.

Agus - 19 - I agree 100%, but it will take time...years...before we possibly can again :( . As it stands, Prague, London, Berlin and MC you can play anywhere, so 4 out of 7. We do try to make sure they don't clash with any major online series also (WCOOP, SCOOP, etc...) Although that is a bit harder now that we have FTOPS and the Full Tilt stuff on our calendar as well.

Dan - 37 - Next week. Some significant changes have been made to London in the last couple of weeks that required a lot of adjustments. We're sorry for the delays. The dates have not changed in any way (other than UKIPT London now having three day 1's and starting on Tuesday instead of Wednesday). I should have a thread up beginning of next week.

Play3r - 38 - I have no idea sorry. But it definitely sounds like AML (Anti Money Laundering) issues to me.

Winnie - 40 - I'm hoping for 40-60 for the 10K (more would be awesome!). It's in the EU so the Nordic players will come and they helped drive the Tallinn PLO number up pretty good. Plus the 10K HR has broken 100 two of the last three EPT's, so I'm hoping at least 30+ of those guys are in for 10K PLO as well (fingers crossed).

As far as the debit and hotel Reg questions, I'm just looking at them now and have emailed Luci at Barriere for answers. Will post when I receive a reply.

apparently stars is willing to make a big fuss about you selling your package hotel room as we learned at pca, don't see why it makes any difference when they still have the package winner playing the tourney and the hotel room filled but w/e, don't mention you sold your hotel room in any emails and its all fine afaik

does anyone know if there are trains from charles de gaulle airport to saint lazare trainstation? do you think i can get a TGV ticket right there at the station?

I don't think there's a train from CDG to Saint Lazare, you should take a cab. You can buy your ticket at the station, it costs 30-35 Euros

You can take the Underground : RER B then E (change at gare du nord). You can check www.ratp.fr Trip takes ~1hour.

To buy tickets at the trains station, go in the "trains grandes lignes" aera and buy them at a yellow automat.

Earlier Reg Questions -

Fee on Credit / Debit - Barriere charges no fees on Credit or Debit Card buyins. Your bank may, but Barriere does not.

Online DBI thru Barriere - Online DBI thru Barriere website is available until midnight the night before the event. So Day before yes, day of no.

Hotel issues - Contact # is +33 (0)2 31 14 39 59

Karl - 60 - There is free wifi. You need to ask when you register for a code as each code is individual and per device.

Ase / David - 62/63 - One of the big deals to PS is (and this has happened)... Ase sells room to David, David does something to the hotel room like breaks something, trashes the room, leaves without paying, etc... and then the hotel claims damages from Ase or the entire bill from Ase who refuses to pay, the hotel comes yelling at PokerStars saying people didn't pay their bills from EPT, etc...

Birs - 69 - I can only go off of Estrellas Barcelona (215 and we turned people away for lack of space) and Eureka Prague (195). We hope it will be prettty big.

Couldn't that be easily avoided by allowing the main name on the room to be editable on regonline and not just the guest? Then the person staying in the room has sole responsibility for the room/leaves their credit card when they check in etc. and is just like any regular hotel guest.

People are always going to want to sell package hotel rooms for various reasons and stars making it slightly more hassle to do isn't going to stop anyone I'd think.

Fast note... there is live programming from the FPS Deauville at the below link. It is all in French (sorry no english feed) and is more of a webshow of the overall field and day, not a dedicated table.

The full webcast starts with the EPT Main Event and will have an English feed.

Did you mean "and validate it in the yellow automat when you enter platform?" Learned that in Italy long time ago.

As for the room, i just intended to share it and leave early as soon as i bust, nothing shady. Didnt work out anyway (ie. offer reopened).

yes the ball-room chairs are unbelievably bad and being 6.1 seriously added to the pain , either way I set that chair (backwards or normal)

I REALLY hope we will not be forced to play the EPT or any other slow structured event on them chairs, they should be used for firewood


also what's up with not letting people 5min before play starts during breaks instead of the 2min when you have SIX HUNDRED people lined up every 2hrs to enter a small door ?

I mean I know the French are usually bad w logistics but seriously, this is common sense
