Tournament Buyin Methods
Below is the question and answers I exchanged with the casino.

Yes, the commission is 0,90%
3. Credit Card - Fees (casino and personal)?
Yes, the commission is 0,90%. We do not accept American Express in gaming (Amex rules).

4. Will you do Currency Exchange (and which currencies) at what rate and with what fees (casino and personal)?
We do currency exchange, the usual ones: dollars, pounds, etc. at the daily rate of the Caixa bank. The maximum quantity authorised to exchange per day is 6.000, and a day for us is from the opening till the closing of the casino. At midnight we do not change the day! We charge a commission of 1,25%, which is usually lower than if you do it at the bank.
5. Wire Buyin for tournaments - fees (casino and personal)?
The casino does not charge any fee for wire buy-in but the bank may apply a commission, on one side or the other.
6. Wire buyin bulk currency for cash games - fees (casino and personal)?
Same answer as for nΊ5.
7. Can they set up private accounts with the casino to hold cash? If so how and what are the fees (casino and personal)?
We do not set up "accounts" but when they send money by bank wire for cash games they have to present themselves to the cashier to ask for their money and then make a deposit at their name at the cage and they can use the money the way they want playing at the casino. There is no fee on the casino side for this service. When leaving the casino, we can send them back the money by bank transfer at the same account as it came from. In case of doing a bank transfer back for the money, the player has to sign a request in that sense and give us all the information we need (complete name, address, name of the bank, address of the bank, iban and swift, email and telephone number). A player can be paid by bank transfer, same procedure as for money for cash games. We will only pay to her/his personal account, never to a third person or casino. We do not charge any fee, but their bank may charge something to cash the winnings. We send the winnings in Euros only, the players receive the winnings in her/his local currency.
10. Can they wire out to other casinos or just personal accounts?
No.

Online Satellites
We have made some changes in the online Sats and we are happy to hear your feedback. Any constructive criticisms and comments you have, please email
EPT@pokerstars.com and put EPT Satellites in the email subject.
One important point that many of you have asked me about is the Players Choice Satellites that have been running on PS.FR. These Sats allow you to pick which Tour Stop on EPT9 you would like to use your package for. They are now being rolled out for PS.COM and there will be one a week to start with as detailed in the explanation of the changes below... ...
The schedule consists of 2 satellites per day in regular time slots and an additional 2 on Sundays, for a total of 16 satellites per week, 15 targeting EPT 9 Barcelona, plus one of the new Players Choice formats. The schedule will be refined over the next few weeks. EPT 9 Barcelona satellites will run until early August. Satellites on other regulated clients will start shortly.
The key features of the schedule are (all times are EST):
Consistent start times throughout the week: 14.05 & 16.05, with two additional satellites on Sundays at 12.05 & 18.05
The 14.05 satellites will always be lower buy-in 3 X Turbo R & A format
The 16.05 satellites will usually have higher buy-ins and will feature a variety of formats: Freezeout, 1R1A, 2 X Chance & Rebuy
A mix of seat only, seat + expenses and full package satellites throughout the duration of the schedule.
Inclusion of a weekly Players Choice satellite. This format allows winners to choose which EPT event in season 9 to use their seat for.

We traditionally have a big Women's Event during EPT London in the fall. This year we have moved it for a little fun in the sun in Barcelona! There will be online qualifications for full package and it should be a wonderful weekend in Barcelona for all the women who come to play! As you can see from the schedule earlier in the post, it is over the 18th and 19th with a live Super Sat on Friday night (17th).

50k Super High Roller -
We are going to open the EPT9 Schedule in style with a 50,000 Super High Roller in Barcelona. This three day event will be filmed for television and will have the exact same structure as the 100K Super High Roller the EPT players are familiar with.
It is a Super High Roller bookend for EPT9 with a 50K at the front and a 100K at the back. In between we will have a 10K High Roller at every EPT stop (including Barcelona) and finish with the record breaking 25K High Roller in Monaco.

I am currently working with BryanS's team to sort out the online qualifying for these events. We are hoping to have a good number of
SEAT ONLY online qualifiers for all three of these events.
For Barcelona specifically we will have a hard cap of 64 players for the HU Champs. We will give 20 minute rounds, 15,000 in chips and the best of three format that has proven so popular on the EPT for the last few seasons. It is scheduled as a three day event, but as in all our Heads Up events, we will allow you to play ahead provided your opponent is also ready to play.
