Disappointed that it's only 10k starting chips for the events
on the 25th and 26th.
TD: please consider raising the starting stack to 12,000 next year which is still
fine to end in 2 days.

Spent part of this morning looking at how to restructure the last week of the month at work so I can head up and play both the PLO and the Stud 8 events...definitely glad to see schedules that aren't just a slew of NLHE events where the only difference is starting time, guarantee and/or entry fee...

Hopefully with the amount of added events we can keep you busy. Good luck to all and hope to see you in the next 3 weeks.
FYI I just called tonight and was able to book a tower room, no problem. $119/night.

What about the starting stacks? Starting at 25/50 with 3k in chips (60bb) and 30 minutes levels, there won't be a lot of good play in this... it'll just turn into a card catching contest.

Is that a hint we need to be practicing our skillz at stuff like OFC and some of the 10-game offerings that leave some of us looking at the game and scratching our heads, saying WTF is THAT game?

Will the 10k starting stacks be bigger next year???
Have you considered making one of the Saturday tourneys a "monster stack" type event that if you market it well enough will attract a bunch of players???
Many of the players that play cash games in Austin are not driving to this stop because they feel that 10k stacks or less at 30 min levels is not worth the drive.

The circuit stops that adjust the quickest to the obv fact that players want more play are the the stops that will flourish in the future.

I have more levels than any circuit stop. I prefer more levels compared to more chips. The reason is that if you give more chips, there is plenty of play at the beginning but when you get to the money there is no play. Example some tnmts I have seen at 18 players have an average stack of about 15-20 big blinds mine have 40-60. I would consider adding maybe 2k more in chips and having a little longer time. Save money!!! 5k and $25k buy ins are expensive

Jimmy,

You've got some issues with a lot of the structure sheets. Pretty much all of the Megas say they are megas (events 1,3,5,8,12,34,36,42,46 and 77) for a Ring Event. I didn't thing there were any rings up for grabs.

Also, the structure sheet for Event 18, says it is Event 21. The structure is probably correct, but the sheet needs to be re-titled.

See you in a couple weeks.

Might can work OFC in...But alot of other games on slate for a noon starting time ..little bigger buy-in. Details being worked out. As soon as I get confirmation, I will let you know. All I can say is that it will be huge. If IM working on this OVER 1 YEAR AWAY....means Im pretty pumped up about it!

Thanks for response Jimmy and yes... Def
consider 2k more in chips. That would definitely help reduce variance!
See you on Friday the 25th

If you work in OFC, please make it Pineapple OFC with Fantasy Land. You would be the first to have a Pineapple OFC tournament. No one really play regular OFC any more. With Pineapple, it's three handed and moves faster.

Buyin $300-500 range.
