Anyone know of any good value, low buy in events in Vegas during the series that aren't advertised a ton that may be good for bankroll builders. Kinda like what golden nugget did a few years back 100 buy in or under?

Variance of MTT make them all tough short-term bankroll builders. Especially when you are talking about low buyin MTT. That means typically a higher % rake and less money up top. Best bankroll builder during the series is undoubtedly CASH GAMES. As the above poster stated, Orleans has some small buyin tournaments and the tournaments are ran very well. Planet Hollywood will have an excellent series with good structure but none of their numbered events are as low as $100. Have you checked out the Excel Spreadsheet that lists all every MTT series in Vegas during June-July?

Spreadsheet that lists all every MTT series in Vegas during June-July?

I have the spreadsheet downloaded and have a lot of the planet Hollywood tourneys in my schedule. Just looking for anything that might not be super grinder heavy and more and MTT player then cash game player.

Would you consider the WSOP megas ($330 and $550) good builders or are they just crapshoots?

Whynotboth.img. I plan on playing some and I think they are good value because the fields are very weak and Megas often offer additional value because some otherwise mediocre/average players are woeful at satellite strategy. But the structures are eh at best so if you are card dead or get a cooler or suckout against you, gg.

Find the survivor tournaments. Get into the top 10% and get about 8.5x your buyin. Easy was to pick up $2-3000.

The only ones I know of are at TI. They sometimes have a hard time getting more than 10 players.

Single table satellites at the Rio run non-stop all day. Different buy-in amounts to fit all bankrolls ($125, $175, $225, $275 etc) the rake is very low and they usually finish within 90min.

Also, they are running mega's which are just like survivor tournaments:

8am - $75 mega / $550 payouts
10am - $185 mega / $1600 payouts

The Single Table Satellites and mega satellites both payout in lammers (tournament buy-in chips) which can easily be sold at face value to players registering for tournaments.

People also tend to have last longers going for side action. These are not in any way discouraged by management, but they will be 100% administered by the players participating. Usually one guy will hold the money (they are allowed to keep the money right on the table).

Don't count on the STTs running during the first few hours of the huge WSOP events, like colossus, milly maker and monster stack. Also, as it gets closer to start of Main Event, they tend to run fewer of the low buyin STTs.

I don't have one, but you can surely find them at WSOP.com. They also have printouts in a few spots around the convention center.

Good looking out! Couldn't find that on wsop website so thanks a lot.

Looks to me like the 8 am $75 is awful all the way around (rake, structure, starting time), while the $185 has low rake (although it will be a crapshoot) and a real good start time. Looking forward to playing at least 1 of the $185 satellite turbos on Tuesday June 30th. If I win, I'll buy into the $1111.
