Gotta back up DoGgz here. What's worse is the LAPT staff doesn't seem to think there is ANY conflicts with LAPT Peru:

Roberto,
I understand that Pokerstars has no affiliation with the WSOP. I've read the blog posts detailing how poorly Pokerstars was treated by the WSOP during the Moneymaker main event and in following years. I understand you don't necessarily like the WSOP after what happened. However, it can't be argued that the WSOP main event is the biggest poker tournament each year. It is also held on July 4th weekend each year. Scheduling your own tournament to directly conflict with the WSOP main event does not sound like good business.
I checked the dates again. I can confirm that day 3 of the WSOP main is the same as Day 1A of the LAPT Peru main..
If I make it to day 2 of the WSOP tournament (very likely, 60%+ of the field makes it to day 2). If I bust out on day 2 then I need to book a flight leaving the very next day which won't get to Lima in time to play Day 1A of LAPT and I would only make it to play Day 1B. That is my best case scenario!
If the tournament was moved one week later I could book all my travel ahead of time and have a very stress-free time in early July.
I'm not the only poker player wishing these two tournaments did not conflict!

As you can see on the webpage:
http://www.lapt.com/tournaments/
LAPT Peru Lima, Peru July 10-14, 2015
You mentioned for WSOP: It is also held on July 4th weekend each year
As you can see the dates do not collide.
