There is a discount for LAPC players. Book a room, then once you're here come find one of the floors and ask them for the discount. Discounts vary per room, but the cheapest is around $134. Hope to see you here!

2015 Event #3 $350k Knockout Bounty 100k guarantee: 417 players vs
2016 Event #3 $350k Knockout Bounty 100k guarantee: 616 players

I also predict event #5 will double the guarantee of $250k. Very electric atmosphere and lots of bang for your tournament buck.

What are the mixed cash games going on $30/60 and higher during lapc?

Is it all draw games?

Sporadic 40/80 O/8. Pretty consistent BOATH playing anywhere from 100-200 to 400-800

This doesn't make sense to me. Instead of a 2-day tournament you can play two 1-day tourneys. It must increase your ROI if you love sitting at a poker table so much.

Tournament director- is there any way to pre-reg for the heads up tournaments? I plan on driving up the day of, but don't want to miss out on the limited seats. Thanks

When I was at Bike a month ago, they had 50-100 mix all 3 days I was there. Also think HP gets 40-80 O8 regularly. For commerce just LHE and stud high.

Unfortunately there are no pre-reg options available at this time. Must be here in person, but can do it at anytime from now until then.

Busy weekend at the LAPC. Finished 3 tournaments last night. Over 100 players and counting for this $350 PLO. Lots of positive feedback from players about the structures. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

I am interested in the $350 Shootout (event #21) and the Dealer's choice (event #54). The structures for these are not posted on the Commerce site. Will they be posted soon?

Shootout structure is up now. We're currently working on the Dealer's Choice tournament. It should be up soon.

Over 100 so far for the PLO/8 event today. The $350 double stack 300k guarantee starts tonight. Last multi starting day tournament nearly doubled the guarantee. Expecting big numbers again.

Don't make the mistake of counting hands in dealers choice. It should be by orbit.

Otherwise i can force someone to take two big blinds and get two buttons in games with a huge edge like triple draw.

Schedule here: http://www.commercecasino.com/tourna...poker-classic/

I note that the criteria for the Senior's Event (2/27) is: "All players must have been born on or before 12/31/1966." Are you really going to allow 49 year-olds to pose as Senior's?

Appreciate the input DJ. Thanks for the suggestion.

The $300k guarantee was nearly doubled today with the 6th and final flight being played. Almost 600k for the prize pool with $86k up top for first. Very impressive turnouts so far for this year's LAPC.

Another guarantee doubled. 774 players for today's $350 100k guarantee. Very nice turnout. I anticipate the $570 300k event next weekend having similar success. Hope everyone can make it out.

I'm thinking about playing the $5200 PLO on Monday 2/29. What kind of PLO cash games are expected to run over the preceding weekend? Thanks!

There are plenty of PLO games running here on a daily basis. Download the app BravoPokerLive and see the games available.

ADDED:
We have also added two $560 PLO Megas on 2/28 at 8pm and 2/29 at 11am with at least one $5,250 PLO "must play" seat guaranteed.

Just to be clear according to the thread, we discussed this in January and the orbit idea was already snubbed by matt.
