Wondering if anyone had any news on the schedule for this series in early 2016.
On the Commerce Casino website they have the series dates (Jan 15-March 3) but no more details of schedule or structures.
I'm planning to be in LA at the start & end of Feb 2016 & was wondering what events would be on while I am in town.

the usually have some multi flight small buyin that takes weeks to complete, as you get closer to the main I think there was a $1500 500k gtd playboy tourney (winner gets prize $ + invite to playboy mansion for a party) , the 10k main and last couple years has had a few 1-2k's after it that have been good as well.

I've been putting a good amount of volume into playing at Commerce lately. Definitely looking forward to the LAPC kicking off Friday

I may come for $1100 horse and omaha8 but would prefer if other mixed events were scheduled closer to these two.

Don't know how often you play at Commerce chainsaw but Omaha cash games have been running hot. I think there's a $25/$50 game about to start right now.

Mixed games haven't really been running but Omaha of any blind size pretty much running consistently.

jeez last year's opening $570 was a 250k with no re-entries. this year was a 150k with one re-entry and barely met the guarantee? ew

It's true that event #2 specifically saw some drop off, but numbers overall have been rising.
2015 Event #1 $175 100k guarantee: 892 players vs
2016 Event #1 $175 150k guarantee: 1047 players

2015 Event #3 $350k Knockout Bounty 100k guarantee: 417 players vs
2016 Event #3 $350k Knockout Bounty 100k guarantee: 616 players

I also predict event #5 will double the guarantee of $250k. Very electric atmosphere and lots of bang for your tournament buck.
