Re: Indiana State Poker Championship Aug 2- 8

I ended day 1a with 43.8k. Not very much but I'll take it. My 2nd table was insanely aggressive and hard to adjust..

He did build up a monster stack at one point but he got chipped away at the last few levels. He was on my right most of the night and I think he ended up around 75-80k or so when play ended.

I, on the other hand, am stuck real short, around 25k. Could be a quick morning Saturday.

I believe we'll start out at 800/1600 w/ a 300 ante. Don't have the structure sheet, but I know the last level was 600/1200.

Thanks! I'm going to try and make that one but not looking very likely right now.

125-130 out of 310 for 1D

So:

1A 76
1B 40?
1C 101
1D 130

So that's 347, about 957 iirc total entrants. Got a bit to go before the money. I'm sitting on 36.9k after losing every hand I played for an hour after dinner, then shoving 3x in the last 15 minutes to recover some chips.

How'd you guys do on day 2? Any luck? What was the action like?

I'm curious to know how many women showed up for the ladies event...what a joke having that start on a Saturday.

Re: Indiana State Poker Championship Aug 2- 8

Well, it ended up being a quick morning like I thought. Got knocked out right at the end of the first level today (13th level overall). Was stuck in shove or fold mode and couldn't get much to work with. Maybe next time.

Lots of cash game action though. Made some money back at least before leaving to get home for the Reds game tonight. Wish I could play in the 6-handed event. I keep missing that during these series. Hope I can catch it at the Fall Classic.

Busted out in 25th. Everyone was basically shove or fold at that point. Lost a few races...oh well.
