Schedule

I'm heading down Thursday to help the HPT do updates and etc. next weekend, hope to see some of you there at the Kennel Club.

EDIT: Looking at the structure, looks like they have the $20 add-on for 5,000 additional chips, bringing the total chips up to 30,000.

Here's the main event structure:

Looks mediocreish. Could be worse. At least the levels get progressively longer. Better than the structure of their first HPT

I'll be playing it. See you there Mr. Kevmath

1st time there was 376 entrants. 2nd time was 300+, 340ish I think. Should pull 300+ again this time. There are at least 50 tickets already in play from qualifiers and a bunch more coming this week.

Mine only had 277 Joe. I guess you and Nick's had 376? I expect something in between that. Something like 300-320 but with a slightly tougher field than the last two.

Yeah, 376 for us. It was really only 277 for the second one?! Maybe i'm confusing the numbers with the WPT event I played that weekend...Either way, should be a relatively soft field as usual.

Now that I'm thinking about it, this was a pretty sick needle. Well played, sir.

Here's a situation that happened on Sunday, you make the call as TD:

We're hand for hand on the money bubble. Player A raises, Player B re-raises, Player C calls, Player D shoves. Another player tanks, then Player D turns over AA.

Player D admits he deliberately showed his hand to get the other players to fold. What would you do?

I'd probably just laugh at how terrible Player D is.

Oh, and a min. of a 1 round penalty.

1 round penalty at least. What are TDA rules, when someone admits they did it on purpose?

Would it change your mind if a player earlier in the day received a one round penalty for exposing cards, albeit accidentally?

They should probably get a 2 round penalty. What did they end up ruling?

Ruling was a one round penalty, several players at the table wanted him disqualified and there was lots of arguing happening well after the fact.
