I talked to the Lisa at the Horseshoe today. She tells me they are going to have a free player buffet on the weekends for everyone in the tournament. That is a really nice touch! She also told me that the on property rooms are going very fast.

I think you're right! They will smash that 75k guarantee. They have been smashing their once a month 25k guarantee weekend for three months running. I think they had a little over 400 on April 5th for that one. I went in and played live last night. The room was jammin as usual. Everyone I talked to thinks there will be sick live action during this event.

I'll be there from the 23-29th for sure. Any more info on exactly what the "nightly leaderboard" is all about? How does one qualify for one of the 5 free main event entries?

I'm not sure exactly the point structure, but I think the nightly leaderboard goes something like, a point for every tournament you enter and extra points for cashes according to what place you finish. Top five point finishers win a main event seat! They will have the complete rules listed at the event, but that's the gist of it.

The 75k and the main are both one entry per flight.

I understand they are having free continental breakfast for the players between 9a-11a everyday during the tournament series in addition to the free players buffet that is on the weekends.

Not great. The 2-flight 75k guar was decent...293 players . The rest have been pretty small...46 for first o8...18 for 2nd. One table for the women's. Nightly MTT haven't broken 80. Nightly sattys to main under 20.

On the flip side, they treat the players well. And I'm up 10lbs from the food.

Lisa tells me there are more hotel rooms booked for that weekend than the 75k Guarantee weekend. There were 293 in the 75k. This the main is 4 flights instead of two flights for the 75k. They are satelliting about 30-40 players in. I'm thinking somewhere between 250-300.
