Nugget's are up at my site:

http://www.rainbowspuppiessunshine.c..._Casino=Nugget

I also ran an analysis comparing 2016 tournaments to 2015 tournaments from same casino for the same cost. Nugget's structures and Vig% got worse from last year. Here's the chart which lists all the comparisons:

Anyone have an idea of what total turnout for the main will be?

Strongly considering the GN Main, peeked into the ballroom last year and looked like a nice setup. Anyone know if they have automatic shufflers in their tables? Assuming no but at least sharing the WSOP staff should help make it bearable. Last year coincided with with the WSOP Main weekend, with the Main a week later I wonder if they will meet the guarantee.

I had written down 15,000+ starting chips for all the GN Seniors Events, but the file below has them at only <= 10K. Was this a recent change like with the Planet Hollywood Seniors, or have I already gone senile? The Patience Factors that I had already calculated for GN will be worse than I thought.

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but it's disappointing that the official website just says the buyin total and not the breakout of how much goes to the pool and how much to the house.

Can anyone tell me, in general, if the GN or Binion's series have lower house take? I'm mostly interested in the HORSE and other limit events.

you just need to read the post above yours to find a document from the official website that indicates your underlined is not true.

OK, good to know. A lot to wade through though, and only in fine print at the bottom of each structure sheet. I still think they should have included it on the main schedule PDF. And still would like to know if people think the GN or Binions are a better value in general.

Have a look in the Las Vegas schedule thread....there's a link to a website that PLOG creates which compares tournaments based on their structures. ...

The GN & Binion's tournaments I've looked at have unbeatable 20% rake, so I'll be looking for better-value games instead.

why would you want to play in these events with the vig being in the low to mid 20%???

low buyin events everywhere have vigs in the low to mid 20%

people play because they are fun and less expensive than more expensive events at GN or elsewhere which have lower vigs .

Anybody planning to play the 100k this weekend? Curious as to how many might show up for $150 buy-in.

I had much fun at the GN Grand series events I played in this weekend. How many runners did Monday's 20k guarenteed bring in? Best $150 you can spend in Vegas, IMO. And the $100 7pm is pretty good, too.

I won't hesitate to return next year for this series, if I can work it out.

Terrible floor decision. The 100k sheet ends at 20/40k blinds. They go to 30/60k next. Explain to floor that they played 250/500, 2500/500 and now they want to skip 25/50k with 2 tables left

That's a shame. Was a really good tournament.

Did anyone play the Mixed O8 on Friday 6/24?

If so, did they play equal amounts of the 3 games?

I can't find anyone covering the $10,000 Seniors event. Anyone know how many entered? A site providing live updates?

Found out the tournament was cancelled due to lack of interest. Only 2 people signed up so they postponed the tournament and will add satellites to try to build a field.

Conceptually great. Practically, we were getting one round of games every two (30-minute) levels. GN did have the pot-limit games ramp up more slowly, but IMO there wasn't a great deal of play in the tourney.
