That's a very good question I keep asking myself in regards to how much interest in the 10k seniors. There is no doubt there are a great deal of senior s around playing NL that would likely try getting in through satellites.
Myself I would truly appreciate the WSOP or some other venue offering a seniors PLO event.
Just a quick note - I'm a dealer and although I'm returning to the WSOP this year I've heard from many road dealers who are better than me that they plan on ditching the series to work at GN this year. There were some management changes that people are excited about and they think it will be a better environment.

I expect the mixed games will be well covered.
I'll be there for the last 2 weeks of their series, so that's good to know.
To be clear I don't know exactly what the "management changes" were or whether they even happened this year. It could be something that happened last year and word got around. I just know that a number of dealers I respect are planning to switch to GN this year.
Still no structures?!?
Am I right in thinking almost all events last year lasted 2 days?
Their $150s were 30 minute levels until level 9, 45 minutes until final table then 60 minutes and the final table was day 2?
If now they are all 1 day events I cant see the structures being anywhere close to last years. It will probably just have standard 30 minute levels like every other summer series in town.

I looked at a few $150 and as far as I can see they are 2 day events with 30/45/60 minute levels.
Looks like you could be right. I didn't play there last summer, that could be why - playing 2 days for an event that size doesn't seem overly productive.
This year they state that all events (with 4 exceptions) are 1-day events.
Yes i know i posted 2015 structure, thats what im saying. Im disappointed they have been reduced from 2 day to 1 day events as there is no way the 1 day event structure can be as good.
I am actually really, really disappointed the Nugget has reduced basically everthing to 1 day events and very disappointed with the nugget as whole.
I booked my trip based almost solely on staying at the Nugget and playing their great structured, low buy in, 2 day events. This was obviously before they released this years schedule. When I phoned the Nugget the day after they released their schedule I was told they had no non-smoking poker rate rooms left (I think this is ludicrous!) I've phoned the poker room directly 4 times in the last month asking when structures will be released and have had people lie to me every time, 'any day now, we are just tweaking them' or 'they are almost ready, will be posted in the next 7-10 days'.
As I already have my flights booked and have made hotel arrangements elsewhere I will still go on my trip but if I when I was booking I knew what I know now I probably would not have booked anything at all.

Truth be told, I don't think there's a huge market for multi-day low buy in events with such small prize pools. Even if they get 200 runners (probably quite a bit less) for a $240 event, making day 2 only guarantees you about $500 and that's a huge time commitment for such a low payout.
I do see what you mean and where you're coming from Aussie but I disagree.
I believe there are a lot of people, like myself, who don't have particularly deep pockets but want to play well structured poker. I understand some players precious time may be too valuable to 'waste' on these kind of tournaments but for a lot of recreational players, I'm sure they are exactly what they are looking for.
