Any 2+2ers play this one? Last month's 25k guarantee got 135 entrants. The tournament lasted about 8 hours and the final table chopped the pot 8 ways.

As down as some of their other tournaments have been drawing since Cincy opened, this one has been the exception, will almost certainly pay more than the guarantee.

Played it twice. Last month, without the chop 1st paid around $8500, 2d, 5800, 4th, 2700. The 2 big stacks took 4999 and the other 6 around 2960. Doubt they will have the same turnout tomorrow since last month was a holiday weekend and some that would normally play are at the WSOP.

Were at 157 entries with one level left to enter. Looks like everyone caught the tournament bug.

Great turnout. 175 total with over 11k to first. I busted pretty early by a guy who was absolutely clueless. He lost a pot with the best hand because he showed top pair and mucked his other hole card after a guy showed second pair. Then he was disqualified because when the table broke he put his chips in his pocket, went to the bathroom, and then tried to take his seat 5 min later. I got it all in with him on the turn with an overpair he called with the nut flush draw and hit the flush. Decent sized pot about 40kish at blind level 100-200 with 25 ante. Looking forward to next months for sure. They are starting another tourney series on the first of August. A thread should be up soon about it.

I was lucky enough to ship this tournament. $11.3k to first. We didn't chop. They said 175 has been the biggest turn out they have had since Cincinnati opened up.

How long did the tournament last? Did the final table play short? or was it somewhat deep as far as blinds. Sometimes when you get to the final table it plays as a turbo.

Blind structures aren't bad at the beginning of the tournament.

The end did play like a turbo, average chip stack was about 12BB going into the final table.

I went into the final table 5th/9 & 14BB (normally they go 10 but 11th & 10th busted at same time) 6 old guys and 3 of us young guys, I had the big chip leader to my right and have had plenty of experience playing with this guy.

2 of the older guys were kinda annoying as they would just jam 20+BB stacks all-in.

First 10 min or so played super tight, once 9th busted it opened up a bit and I woke up with AA UTG and busted 2 guys in the hand; I min raised UTG, old guy in MP jams, BB calls (BB only had like 1/2 BB behind) was AA>KK>62hh

It seemed like we got down to 4 players relatively quickly but played 4 handed forever and eventually it came down to coinflips. 4th got busted losing AJhh<QQ I busted 3rd TT>AJo & heads up play lasted about 40 minutes and we eventually got it in 77>AJ

Play lasted until around 10:30PM or so.

They give you the option to pay 28% in taxes up front, but that doesn't seem like the best decision seeing that he probably has some losses he can account for by the end of the year. Although, after 4k posts I'd think that you'd be more qualified at answering such a question..
