Casual player here coming in late June
Schedule looks great
Would love the inclusion of a heads up holdem or heads up
Plo event, also- at least for me, not sure about others
I am way more likely to play a variation of plo if it's six max than
Full ring.

Thanks

Thanks Chris. Cool stuff here. Just a heads up, looks like there might be some misprints in the lineup for June 13 with respect to events 39A, 39B, and 40. I assume 39A and 39B should have the same $350+50 buyin and that event 40 is the $255+45, but I don't know what the respective time slots are supposed to be.

Thanks Chris for posting it here first!
Quick thoughts: a lot of low buy-ins, some will like it, others will hate it...
IMO it's very appealing to players who can't afford WSOP or Venetian buy-ins. My concern is about the 100/200$ buy-ins, hope the structures won't be too fast, especially in the PLO and limit games.
I really like the variety of the schedule, very different games & formats throughout the series. Sounds fun!

Arghhh why did you have to put the $350 Mixed PLO event on the same day as the WSOP $1500 LO8, Chris? Was excited when I first saw it on the schedule... until I saw the date.

I do appreciate you listening to our feedback and including that OE event though...

Tournaments look solid on first look. A little disappointing that only NLH events the dates that I plan to be there (last week of June) given that that there are quite a few non-nlh wsop evens that time period, but not big deal.

Quick initial question: If a tournament title has a restart in its title [i.e., event 70 'GOLIATH Stack - NLH (Restart 6/29 2pm)'], does that mean that there is only a day 2 and no day 3 planned?

$100 - $200 buy in non turbos will have our same structure for our feature events as last year. Chainsaw approved!

correct however players always have the option to add a day 3 when we get down to a final table. All players must agree.

I really wish the majority were in the $200-$300 range instead of $130+$30 and $145+$35 like we have.

I'd be way more likely to play the one day tournaments if they were $200+40 or $250+$50.

I will still probably play the 6max just because how rare it is, but the only tournaments really there for me are the $300 turbo and $240 PLO.

The first summer I went to Vegas I played a lot of the Caesar's megastack events as I wasn't rolled for most of V/WSOP events. They were a bit turboish but overall the staff did a great job and things went swimmingly for the most part. Fast forward two years to last summer where I was playing mostly WSOP events but was interested in the PH series as it was taking over for the Caesars megastack events. I was excited about playing these events until I saw what a disaster everything was from the moment I stepped off the escalators upstairs.

First off, me and three friends went to play sattys and there were no dealers or anyone perpared for us at all. If you want to offer sattys at only certain times of the day that's totally understandable but don't advertise them as running and not have anyone to deal them, just sayin. Second, how on earth can you not afford to have all in buttons at every table? Two times for sure and I believe a third this came into play and cost me a stack. I verbalized all in and put a stack out to indicate, a player with headphones on says call and says he thought he was just calling the stacks of chips I put out. The dealer then said that since he didn't know the action he was able to change his action to which he folded. This happened almost the exact same way about an hour later, this time I looked the dealer, announced I was all in while looking the dealer in the face. She announced I was all in and the villain flicked in one chip to call the stack of big chips I had put out. Again he said he didn't know the action so the dealer then let him change his action and he folded again. I was tilted to say the least to start, then when the floor was called over both times and ruled in favour of the villain I almost lost it. Now, I could have blown that off if it weren't for the fact that on the walk down to my car through the cash area I saw that EVERY cash table had an allin button in the dealer tray. How on earth do you have them in cash room but can't have them in the tourneys that people are paying $1K to play?

I discussed this with the floor and the tourney room manager and they all sided with the dealer and villain. If this is how you choose to run your room then you should turn the right over to someone else that will follow standard TDA rules or just common sense. Verbal is binding and it is on a player to know the action before they commit, period. I love PH and do a majority of my gambling there. They treat my friends and I very well and comp me at least very well. But as far as this series you all put on, it was an insult to the community as a whole. You're fooling players with the schedule, making them believe they are getting great value when really you're squeezing 10 handed tables into a small area with turbos disguised as deepstacks.

The series has potential but really if you're looking for value check out the Golden Nugget. Bunch of older players, better structures and a better payout structure. Again, I WANT to like this series but unless it was tightened up then it's a sham of a series that cares very little about the players that enter it.

I'm glad to see some mixed/limit events included. I wish the buy ins were a bit higher as $240 is on the low end of what I would play and I don't think that level is worth making a trip for. I'll hopefully be able to play a couple of the PH tournaments adjacent to other events I'm playing. So if I bust the $1500 WSOP dealer's choice on day 1, I'll probably play the HORSE at PH the next day. I might also play the HORSE event before the $1,500 LHE.

But I will probably not travel up for the OE. It's slightly too far after the $1500 O8 and too far before the Golden Nugget $570 HORSE to really make it work within the context of a few day trip. It's the day before the $2,500 OE but that event is too rich for me unless I run really well between now and then.

I'll also probably skip the dealer's choice events, just because the buy in is too low, even I am in town for other events.

Hopefully, you'll attract some low limit players who want to try out some different games for a low entry point. I think it's good for poker if more people play different games.

He exposes himself, and you are allowed to hold him for no limit.

Or maybe it's something else...my source is unreliable.

I am curious as well as to the structure/format of this tournament.
