We are going back to Monaco right after Berlin everyone. The big changes from previous EPT Finals...

€100K Super High Roller - Just what it says. A one hundred thousand euro buy in Super High Roller in Monaco And yes, it and the €25K High Roller both include Re-entry.

Cash Games - There will be cash games for the first time at EPT Monaco. 6-7 tables and they will primarily be higher staked games, but baby steps

SNG - During EPT6, the SNG's were not allowed, but now they are, so we will have a return of SNG, with buyins from €300+

Non NLH Games - For the first time ever in Monaco we can play games other than NLH. While I still can't do 8 Game (no Draw Games ) we added in PLO and PLO8, plus our popular NLH variants such as Win The Button and Rivers!

Essentially the schedule breaks the same way the PCA did with one less day. SHR opens two days early finishing on ME Day 1A. ME plays for six days. HR starts on ME Day 4 and plays three days wrapping the day after ME finishes. Instead of filming the HR FT, we are filming the EPT Champion of Champions.

PokerStars Qualifier packages will be the 24th through the 1st, departing on the 2nd.

What will the rake be like for cash games?

I'm glad we could announce, thanks

I'll contact them and try and find out the cash game info. Monte-CarloCasino is running the cash games, not EPT. There will also be some pit tables in the Salle de Palmier. For players who have been there before, that's the room to the left that used to have 30+ tables and the player lounge. This year should have 15-20 tourney tables, 5-7 cash tables and assorted pit games.

No cap for the Main. We will have 65-70 tables, so I guess the cap could be 1400 or so?

Any chance the EPT would consider implementing a shot clock and/or speed poker for the turbo tournaments?

Also, is the association with the Monte-Carlo®Casino a new thing?

I want to play the 100k SHR but I cannot get money on Pokerstars by the 24th (I am self-excluded). How do I wire monies to this shindig most efficiently?

2 years ago there was an issue with players who won/bought packages early on being assigned to the le meredian, will the process this year be based on VIP level or when you register. the MC Bay is a lot more expensive than the le meridien so will those people get a credit?

Shaniac - 11 - We've looked at this a couple of times and the only problem I have with it is I hate putting dealers in the position of killing hands. Both for the sake of players and the dealers themselves. I know other tournaments have used them fairly successfully and it is something we are looking at.

Sage - 16 - I need a German stamp of approval on the schedule. It is supposed to come this week. I can confirm it ends on the 21st with the typical €300 30K GTD, €100 10K GTD, €5K Turbo and final day of ME and €10K. So players who want the Super High Roller have the 22nd to travel. Players coming to Monaco for the Main have a couple of days.

Nuts - 17 - I'll have a detailed breakdown of buyin options in the next couple of weeks. I'm waiting for all the final details for wiring, etc.. to be confirmed with the casino.

Fatal - 18 - The Bay will have a portion of its rooms allocated based off of VIP status. The rest will be first come first serve.

Is the Main's Structure the same as other EPT8 Main's ?

Thibavol - 21 - Yes.

Todd - 22 - For the Grand Final it HAS to be there. I can't put it on Day 3 as it runs right into the 25K. I'm messing with the schedule this week (which is why it isn't on the website) and I may be able to squeeze a second 5K into the final two days by removing or moving the 5K Heads Up.

Spades - 23 - I think it may be 10/25+. At this time they have been allowed 5-7 tables only for EPT8. For EPT9 it will hopefully be more. I'll have all the wire details within the next couple of weeks.

In terms of field size, I think you'll lose a lot more players by having day 1 of the 5K conflict with day 2 of the main than by having day 2 of the 5K conflict with day 1 of the HR. Adding a second 5K sounds great.
