Does this series not being HPT even make that much of a difference? Still seems like a decent series pretty similar to last years HPT

Not really, just don't have the tv camera's and great opening song of hpt, not tht many ppl came up last year going omfg I am an hpt grinder and can't miss this.

I spoke with Mike he was going to put a thread up last night and saw this 1 already up.

So it sounds like the rumor is the HPT at Turning Stone is toast, so.......

I am planning on playing in Event #5 - $300; Event #6 $500; and Event #7 $200. Does anyone have any guess on what kind of turn-out to expect this first weekend? Also any info on the structures? Are these all structured to be one-day tourneys, or does the Final table come back to play a second day?

Any information would be beneficial.

I would set the o/u at 100 for Friday, 125 for Saturday, and 40 for Sunday.

Structures are pretty good (fantastic compared to the usual ultra-turbo tourney structures there). All tourneys except for the Main Event are one day. Many of them are chopped when they get down to 5-10 folks.

Usually, the flyer is posted on the website when they are announced but nothing is there yet.

I'm going with the under for Friday, over for saturday (there giving out 50 free seats), and over for sunday.

Could be that HPT is still reeling from the defunct Epic Poker League. Still trying to reorganize.

HPT was purchased by Epic. Needs a little research.

When it says that if you win a second seat into the $1650 main through a satellite it's transferable. What does that exactly mean? Can you sell it to someone else for whatever you want? Can you trade it into the casino for $1650 in cash?

Looks like the buy-ins are posted wrong on the Turning Stone Site. They show Saturday Event 6 as a $300 buyin and Sunday Event 7 as a $500 buy-in tourney. For example Event seven has a $5,000 guarantee, but a $500 buy-in? Lol, I guess they are hoping for more than 10 people to show up!!

How will they be giving away seats to the main and how many will be given out?

The first 50 $165 10 person Sit n Go satellites will have an extra seat added so two people will get main seats instead of the one that it should be. I think that's what they mean by giving away seats but not sure maybe theres another promotion or something.
