Thanks CK, I am told that the canceled guarantees had posted minimum player amounts. I have also stressed to HR management that an event I am involved will not have minimums and that the guarantees are to be kept 100%. They have complies with my wishes so I am certain that they will honor them.

There is a lot of pressure to perform here and their advertising campaign adds even more pressure. I am happy that they are giving me the support and hoping that it translates into a great series that it will lead to more.

Being the "player" of the three of us, I've been leaning heavily on Matt for some friendly things we don't get around town in other series. Matt's going to do his best to make as many of my ideas happen as he can. We've cooked up one that involves me heading into the lab. Will unveil if it works out.

Any reason why this event isn't even mentioned on the Hard Rock's web site?
Seems strange that it isn't these, especially with all the print ads I've seen recently.

It was supposed to be on the website last week, but there were some "technical issues"[1] that are being worked on. Hopefully it will be up this week.
[1] I have not been told what they are

Do they have to go bust or can they forfeit a short stack and start over on the second day?

No, you are not allowed to reenter if you are still in from Day 1A. I also think this would be a bad play on their part.
