Deepstacks Poker Tour Question/Answer Thread. - WSOP and Tournament Circut

The new DeepStacks Poker Tour kicks off their 2012 tour with a visit to Casino Seneca in Niagara Falls, NY with the $1,350 +$150 Western New York Championship with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Only details so far is players start with a 25,000-chip stack with 50 minute levels. More info as it becomes available at www.deepstackspokertour.com

Also coming to Las Vegas, Reno, Portland, "California" (no more details given yet), and Montreal. If it ends up where I think it will in Montreal (Playground Poker) it will be a nice event. If it goes to the Casino de Montreal (highly UNlikely) it will be less nice.

On the DSPT page, the Montreal stop is at Playground Poker.

The LV stop is at Treasure Island, while California is in Turlock.

Thanks for confirming that Kevmath. I looked all over the site but didn't see it there - only "Montreal". Playground is a great room and they run great tournaments - there's a $1.1K tomorrow (second one in less than 2 months) that will sell out at 170 seats which should have a top prize of $42K.

Hi everyone, really excited about this event coming up. I will be the tournament director and am working on the structure to make sure it will be one of the best events/structures of the year for a $1500 event. I should have it done within the next day or two and as soon as I get approval from the poker room manager and deepstacks I will post it here on two plus two. I look forward to coming out to Seneca and meeting some new people as it will be my first time being there. Spread the word, come play with the pros and be part of our first televised event kicking off 2012.

Also looking forward to seeing Niagara Falls and that bone chilling weather brrrrrrrrr.

Structures are completed and sent out just waiting on final approval and once that is confirmed I will post here on two plus two which I hope will be within the week. Stay tuned.

Great, cant wait to see the structure, thanks for sharing. The weather here can be cold but it isn't Antarctica around here.

I've been asking about prelims in the room, still no official announcement but I've been told there should be a few with the main taking place on that Saturday. .
