I think unique entries will be lower but overall entries will be higher. Yeah, the structure isn't that great but you have to account for the fact the Rio pretty much uses its entire space for the Colossus [They use up the live and satellite tables at the beginning of each flight. That's a lot of lost revenue]. It's a lottery tournament. Once you take it for what it is, you can then decide whether you wanna play it or not.

Im assuming I should do everything I can to register the night before? I fly in on Saturday evening and planning on playing the Sunday 10am flight. If I wait until Sunday morning I am assuming I will spend a ton of time waiting in line if I dont get there stupid early.

It looks like RiverPH7 is not running a last longer for the Colossus this year as he has not updated his posts. Has anyone found another LL running for this event. I won it year one of the event and am hooked now?

Saturday night will be shorter than Sunday morning, just hard to tell how much shorter. Have no idea since it is colossus weekend but i always register the night before for any WSOP events I am playing the next day and the later in the night you go the shorter the line. If you go after colossus late reg closes for Sat night it should prob be better, also the later you go the better in general, so like 1am i would imagine basically no line but who knows.

2 years ago during first colossus i went around 8pm to register for the 1500 O8 tournament for the next day and only waited 30 mins, it was 2 years ago and colossus was different then so YMMV.

They'll show the numbers tomorrow probably. Or at the latest after the final table.

I think if they don't change the structure they'll see diminishing numbers every year.

I only fired 3 bullets this year and actually preferred to fire the $10,000 Limit Omaha instead of last two chances for colossus.
