Add a 1k Turbo Thursday at 2pm before the main event please. Satellite players and people coming in just for the main aren't the same, nothing for traveling players over 2 days before the main.

Stop making people play 14 hour days, at least start the main at 11am if you are gonna do this, I complain about the same things over and over I think

Coming on here to echo the complaint of 12-2 play (and then restart at noon)

I don't mind the 12-2 hours but I would prefer to restart at 2 pm.

I am in on this action. Tex can you suggest to your buddy Jimmy that he order a new chipset. The set Choctaw has used FOREVER is so worn out and dirty. The amount of $$$ that Choctaw is making off these poker tournaments should justify the costs.

I'll see Jimmy tomorrow and will mention it to him but that is up to Choctaw. Choctaw has a new poker room manager Bob Barnes and I'll mention it to him also.

My guess between 1.4 and 1.6 million prize pool.

they had a record turnout during the wsopc becuase it was held on the weekend.

they should consider putting it on the weekend rather during the midle of the week.

Last years wpt congress had a good turn out.

68 players isn't a good turnout. The WSOPC drew 377 but it was a ring event.

Thank you so much for posting this. I had been looking for this info. It's still not on the Choctaw site for some reason.

Any idea why the opening weekend $125 buy in got dropped from a $300,000 GTD last year to just $200,00 this year? Last year surpassed the guarantee relatively well, at $355,000. I had been hoping it was going to be $400,000 or $500,000.

Also, is anyone else having trouble with the room discount code? It's usually WPT15, WPT16, WPT17, etc. just WPT and the last two digits of the year. But when I try WPT17 this time, it actually INCREASES the price. Pretty odd. It makes all rooms a flat rate of $299 a night.

I don't think their IT dept has been given codes yet but even so they had trouble with the codes working on internet at last event but worked fine when calling hotel reservations. Like you I would assume it will be WPT17.

The PNIA main event missed the guarantee so my guess is the casino may have lowered the guarantee because of this. Imo the players will be there no matter if the guarantee is $200K or $300K.

Try calling the poker room and they should know what the code is and then they can transfer you to reservations

Ah. good thinking. That has to be it. I see you have predicted that the $1 million guarantee will hit $1.4-$1.6 mil. A relatively sizable increase over last year's 1.145 mil. Hope you're right! Would be juicy.

Haven't heard anything about guarantee a Wpt seat in their Sunday tourneys. But they are in their Memorial Weekend tourneys on Saturday 05/27 they have a $250 guaranteeing $20,000 plus a Wpt main event seat and Sunday 05/28 a $330 guaranteeing 3 Wpt main event seats.

How many people typically play in the nightly 10pm $100 super satellites to the main event? I've played in the ones where there are 10 seats guaranteed, but not the daily ones.
