Dang it, just tried booking a room for the ME weekend and it says no availability when trying to use the WPT16 code...there are room available for $279/329 fri/sat...Who comes up with this prices??? Looks like ill be driving back and forth.

Heard at the Friday knockout last night, which was a 15k guarantee with $50 bounties and tickets to a mega satty for the WPT main, they mistakenly gave everyone at the back two tables 20k starting stacks instead of 8k. Apparently it wasn't brought to the TD's attention until the first break. So, everyone not seated at those two tables got an additional 10k, so they played a deep-stack knockout.

That must be right. Jimmy (TD) told me that 1A and 1B will start at noon and play until 2:00 AM, with a one-hour dinner break.

Add in four 15-minute other breaks and that's 14 hours.

I still don't understand why there aren't individual structure sheets for every event, like every other series on the planet. I mean how many levels is the $300k playing on day 1. same as $1milly, is there dinner breaks, etc. Its quite important to details about each unique event as they don't all have the same structures.

Glad to hear Jimmy, and trust me I do appreciate the level structure of your tournaments as they are the best around.

However, to answer your question that answers my question about the noon events, but what about the 5,7, and 10 pm events? All I am asking ( and i think would help alot of others as well) is to have at least structure sheets for the diff times. Like have one structure sheet for the noon events (list the #'s like 4,5, and 8 or whatever) and then diff structure sheet for the 5 pm etc. I think this would greatly help and you still wouldn't have to have a sheet for each event, just 4-5 of them. Thanks

Where are they going to have the cash games? Last WSOPc they had them in some big ballroom and I just didnt like it. Couldnt get internet. Bad ambiance but truth be told it was more efficient getting tables etc.

Same thing happens to me every year. I say I'm gonna play the Sunday tourneys up there when they have the overlay, times slips by and nothing. Here it is 10 days away from start and haven't played a single satty. Oh well, guess I'll try to get in one while I'm up there.

last WTP was level 8 but that was with 30 min level. This time around we get 40 min levels so I would assume it be level 6. Although it could be level 8 again.
