Choctaw does have shuttle buses from a couple of stops in Dallas but coordinating with them would be hard from the airport. Car rental is the easiest way.

Maybe Uber an option too? Not sure how much that would cost but there's no limit to how far they'd go. An hour long Uber on the East Coast costs ~$60 which might be less than rental car especially if you have to pay for car parking. Also maybe Zipcar short-term rental is an option.

I'm guessing an Uber from Dallas to Choctaw would be a lot more than that simply because its a one way ride. No one will be Ubering back. The price would most likely be almost double for that reason alone I would think.

That's not how Uber works. Fares are based on trip duration and distance based on the fares and surge pricing in the pick up location (because fares differ from city to city, if you're going from city A to city B, you pay city A fares). Also, Uber drivers cannot, or at least are not supposed to, refuse a ride. The longest ride I read about online was someone who got a fare from LA to San Fran. I have many friends who have Ubered an hour into Boston for ~$60 without issue.

Long story short, one way nature of the ride would not affect price.

Update: Uber's official fare estimator says $85-113 for Dallas Love Field to Choctaw Durrant Casino for the 86 minute, 93 mile trip. You can rent a car from Love Field for this weekend for as little as $26/day, which is insanely cheap. If prices were higher as they could be during peak times, like over $100/day, Uber could definitely be the way to go. I am particularly interested in this discussion as I might go to Choctaw via Dallas in January, but I don't drive.

Rental will be the easiest thing...you OUGHT to be able to find something for under $50 a day including taxes plus probably another $20 for gas round trip. No charge for parking at the casino...

For the record, I put an ad on craigslist back in October of 2014 asking for someone to take me from Winstar (or gainesville) to Dallas for $50. Within a couple hours I had received several emails from people offering to take me. I expected someone from Winstar would take me. However, the person I selected was actually an Uber/Lyft driver working out of downtown Dallas. He drove all the way from Dallas to Gainesville, picked me up, and drove me to my house in Dallas (barely missing rush hour traffic) for $50. Gas prices at the time were around $3/gallon but he did drive a Prius.
