I was there 2 or 3 saturdays ago and it was still pretty ridiculous. You can reg the night before, otherwise I'd def be there by 11:30.

The new tourney they added today was super sweet.

113 runners $135 entry for 9000 chips. 20 minute levels

$2900 first place + seat into the wsop-c Main Event ($1600)
$1700 for second, no seat.

I got heads up with a lovely lady that offered to chop even and play for the seat. I had a 735k to 315k lead. I politely declined. She complained at the table how she was an awesome negotiator but failed to put another offer on the table so I meticulously took the rest of her chips and the seat.

Can anyone recommend any tournaments close by for practice before January?

BTW met an awesome kid that is new to tournaments. He is gonna tear it up soon.

Bad read by me that worked out. Card dead for 3 levels, you just got to the table, and the A8 looked more like AA to me. Your small c bet on the flop followed by overbetting the turn I mistakenly put you on a small PP or a miss. Thought my middle pair top kicker was good. Got bailed out with the A on the river.

Got my chips in bad twice Saturday (3 times if we include the set over set debacle) This hand with you, and with 8 players left woke up with KK and shoved over a raise. Raiser shows AA. K on the turn put me in good shape for the rest of the day.
