I took 7th in this on 10/22, and I gotta say, it's an awesome format for such a cheap buy in. We only had 81 players or so though...gotta get more people to play in this tournament!
I live in mid cities, so if anyone wants to carpool this weekend, let me know

I am still debating about coming up this weekend. I've got a lot to do this weekend that is non-poker related, and it's a long drive for me, so I am thinking maybe doing this another time. So on the fence. lol

Plus $1k comes out of the pool for the NACPT main event seat.

My fear is that if I do poorly in the tournament, I don't have the bankroll right now to go play cash higher than $1/$2 (snooze). I would hate to bust out after a couple of hours, after driving and 1.5 hours, and then turn around and drive another 1.5 hours back home. Guess that tells you something about my play. HAHAHA

The thing with this tourney is playing well and getting deep, being there at 7:30pm and then taking a beat or a couple of them and just missing the cash and then having to make the drive...at least it is a fun tourney, great value and a great room.

There were 150 today if I recall correctly...no repeat final table due to my overwhelming stupidity. I forgot for 30 seconds that I am playing at Choctaw and don't over play your hand.
Oh well, there is the limit omaha 8 or better next Friday at 1pm and the bounty at 7pm, a full day donk'ing it up. We'll see if I can make the first break in a limit game with a T7,000 starting stack!
