Choctaw, Durant OK Weekly Tournaments - Page 10 - WSOP and Tournament Circut

I love Choctaw, and one way to increase the action/interest is to have some of the MEGA satellites for the TJ event, I think (if it's not too late). Winstar manages to get HUGE turnouts (500+ yesterday, for example) for the MEGA satellites for The River. From what I can see, though, Choctaw's only mega satellites will be the day or two before the start of the TJ Main Event.

Kenny knows it's all about promotion, promotion, promotion for these huge tournaments. Jimmy is first class, and Choctaw is also first class. I just hate to see potentially smaller numbers for a great even like the TJ...Circuit got a huge turnout, because of the association with WSOP.

I am starting to get more active on the 2+2 forums and play poker very rarely as of late. I am from OKC and am looking forward on playing some of these weekend tournaments in August.

Seems the structure of the daily 60's is changing to be deepstacked. 6000 chips with a 3000 chip add on $50+10+(10 add on), with 300/500/1000 chips added for cash play

Marvin just announced changes to the daily tournaments. For $5 more every tournament will have 10k starting stacks.

Also moved from 2pm to 1pm every weekday and again at 7pm

Just booked a hotel room for 2 weekends from now... Aug 12th is me and my wife's 10 year anniversary, and we decided to get a hotel room to celebrate... she goes "let's go to Choctaw." What a woman!

So we're gonna spend the weekend there, I'll play the Sat 13th tourney while she plays slots or goes to the pool. Hopefully she'll bring me some luck.
