I took off work for the two 345s, one is on a Saturday and it's a two day event so hopefully it's a really big field.

It should be. The Guarantee is $150k and with $300 of each player goes into the prize pool, at least 500 players will show up.

If your used to playing the WSOP curcuit events then yes its standard for them, (10% antes is standard) my point is they give the perception that they are structured well but you have to open bigger, reraise bigger, ect... the pots accumilate bigger so your not nearly as deep as you think/percieve.

Rip ---- after a quick review, the only tourney with a 600/1200 - 200 level is #1 ---- all others are 600/1200 - 100

From the ME's structure, it looks like Day 2 will start at 500/1000/100 even with the starting stack..we still have 15bb.. also like the fact that they wont take out $10 for "extra chips"

yes, me too. but pot odds leave every open to a call from unsuited 2-3 gappers, (works both ways) its an adjustment, thats why you see more 4-5bb opens.

what about 400/1500/3000? ME (8100 pot)
im not argueing that it is good or bad, just that it plays more like a turbo event than percieved.

Been going to Choctaw for 2-3 years and have never been able to get their on-line reservation system to accept a discount code but they alway work when I call in.

Yeah so the WSOP Main has 1500/3000/400. That is what you are saying isn't standard right?
