Sean... I'm all for your idea of creating dialogue that allows to make suggestions for tournament staff. But you have to understand that the way you come off is sometimes more important than the actual message itself. After reading through this thread, its just really hard to take your comments to be more than Whitney trolling. Just a piece of advice for you.

Dang, level 17 blinds are 3K-6K, 1K ante. That sure gives everyone plenty of wiggle room.

No, yesterday's chip leader does have 330K in chips but they did not play all the way till level 24, as noted on the schedule sheet. They stopped play at level 17.

hell of a run bud, you played great. All there is to say about it. Was a really really fun tournament. Just wish i wouldnt have punted my top 2 stack with 44 left. But happens to all of us i guess.

First paid 30k. I assume it was a kid
Named AJ. But I left right after I busted. He was chip leader and I was second in chips. I think he had over 9mil and there was like 12 mil in play.

We talked chopping at 5 and 4 left but for some reason choctaw makes you sign for the actual listed prize. So no reason to all take 17k and have someone sign for 30k

wow...this seems pretty crazy. I would assume chops happen often in the dailys, is that not the case? You only have to fill out tax form if its 5k more then buyin correct?

I think 5k or more is correct. And yeah it's crazy. 5 handed and we were all basically sitting at 2mil in chips and could have chopped for basically 2nd place money but no one was going to take 17k and sign for 30k. Only way it could happen was if someone was from a country with a tax treaty.

I asked the lady doing cash outs why they do that their and she said they don't at their other property. Not sure who's properry she was referring to but seems like some kind of weird rule from management or weird law

They did the same rule for the WSOP circuit event there. No point in chopping when someone has to sign for 1st place money.

I think they are doing a great job considering their logistical challenges with construction.

Finished 21st so chop did not apply to me. Meh...
