I assume the 100k gtd this sat is a 1 day event and has same structure as the monthy 100k gtd tournies Borg has?

Anyone know the promo code for tournament rate rooms? I called over there and the lady is saying there are no more 'poker rate' rooms available. I told her I want the 'tournament' rate the one you get if you buy in to the $3500 main event. She keep saying were sold out.
Unless she's mistaken I guess they don't want anymore people to come for the main event unless your willing to pay hotel rate.

Any regulars know if it is frowned upon to use a cab between Borg and Harrah's? I know those cabbies sometimes wait hours for a fare.

me and my ct poker goons are playing the 50K guarantee on friday sept19th…its the last event of the series but im thinking it will get 300+ entrants? any other estimates?

Most will have left by Friday, 19th. I would not expect big numbers above the guarantee.

the hotel will only provide so many rooms to the poker room, they have enough demand without it. when Tab used to post on here he always advised to book early (as did Stan).

I was debating on entering event # 46, one of the cheapest events of the series, but I just called and I was told they only had 25 entrants which was a surprise.
