I know there are a lot of players in Vegas at the moment playing in the WSOP, but I think there are still plenty of people on the east coast that will be there, including myself. I'm just surprised they didn't make the guarantee bigger, though, I could be wrong about my predictions.
Spring Open Event # 1 500+60 April 4 2012(a Wed also) had 1,041 !

----------------------

last year- summer open 2011:
Event #1 Fri 6/10/11 $350+50 (DS re entry) 829 runners
#3 Sat 6/11 $400+50 only 172
#5 Mon 6/13 $500+60 272

I would guess Wed $500+60DS 100K guarantee gets 500-600
but Sat 600+60 no guarantee not DS gets 200

I'll be making my first trip to Borgata in 3 years for this series. Can't believe it's been so long. Definitely coming for the Main, maybe a few of next weeks prelims too depending on how my schedule shapes up.

It'll be good to see you again Tab, been way too long!

Is it a fair assumption that the 100k on 6/17 that both day 1s will last until about 930pm the lady was rude when I called to talk to borgata.

you mean 6/10? in the structure sheet it says 14 levels for day 1a and 1b. levels 1-10 are 30 minutes and 11-14 are 40 minutes. 10 minute break every 3 levels. 8 hours 20 minutes starting from 11am is 7:20.

tab, how is the dinner break is going to work. at 7:30 itll be after level 14. actually 10 minutes into level 15 if i counted right.

Re: Borgata Summer Poker Open (June 6 - 22)

Tab: Why aren't ALL 49 events reported to ratings sites like Hendon Mob, CardPlayer, et al? Why only the main events? Lots of Borgata's top players play in the side events and, in fact, choose them over certain main events. In any given non-main event, I've seen many professionals and Borgata regulars who might benefit from the reporting of the non-main event results. btw: this applies to Blog coverage or non-coverage/reporting as well.

Tab/Stan - For all the opens (summer/spring/fall/winter etc) I commend you on having such a variety of games. However, how come there is rarely ever a LIMIT hold 'em event. Myself and 2 friends would love a LIMIT hold 'em event. Can you please consider doing one for the open in September (preferably on a weekend!!!!)
