The schedule is out! The Borgata decided to combine both the BSO and the WPT all in one event. The odd thing is that event 1 is a $1M guaranteed event but lasting only 2 days but the BSO Championship event lasts for 5 days but is the same guarantee?

I don't understand why there are not some bigger buyin side events.

Wish the main event was closer to the weekend. Seems like it would have made more sense to be a day or two closer to the wpt championship.

Guess there was some conflict to do it like that.

BSO championship is listed as $300+$40 buy-in!! In fact as per PDF schedule it is $2500+$200.

It's great that almost all events are reentry. But, why is the PLO8 single entry?

The PLO8 and HORSE were both single entry in the Winter series...

Borgata doing a good job of really pushing the agenda with making the schedule as terrible as possible for people who have to travel and normally work. I'm kind of impressed at their effort in making the schedules worse in that regard, it takes true commitment.

a little disappointing....no heads up tournament, no deepest stack tournament...no 8/7/6 tournament..and the one tournament a recreational player like myself would play, the deeper stack is scheduled for easter sunday...too bad for me

Ladies event and seniors event on the same day. I don't have a problem with either of these events, but they should be run alongside an open event, not each other. If you are a male under 50, you have no MTT to play that day.

What happened to the deepest stack tournament? Also does anyone know if these tournaments will be held in the Ballroom or the Signature? Not a big fan of the Signature room.

Less than a month out and no structures posted...seems slower than usual.

hope the powers that be considered reverting back to 40 minute Day 1 levels for Event 1

That's why I won't play it anymore until it is switched. That tournament used to have a great structure for a $560 - 40 min, 50 min and 60 min. Then it was 30 min 1-6, 40 min, 50 min and 60 min.

Unfortunately now it has been 30 min levels 1-16(the whole day 1) which sucks and eliminates most of the field to entice us to reenter.

Maybe Tab will change it back because it has gone downhill considerably. Again though, they keep getting record fields to support this event so honestly Tab has no incentive to change it back.

I skipped it last time for the same reason. Not that my few entries alone change anything..... turns out that I never made it to Borgata in January and missed the entire series when my original plans were to grind hard for a few weeks and of course play the WPT Main. So skipping event 1 had an unintended snowball effect.

I love Borgata and have been a loyal customer for more than a decade but the quick structure and shorter levels of this event are really becoming an issue that I hope Tab will look at. A big and not really oft spoken part of the problem is that there are a number of slow blue shirt dealers which compounds the issue of not seeing a reasonable number of hands per level.

Reserving judgment until the official structure is posted.
