Count another vote for 1 hour dinner breaks. I don't think 40 minutes gives enough time, especially if you want to eat anywhere other than the mediocre food court. If you're trying to get the events done faster - the events with 40 min levels don't need a break every 2 levels, I'd MUCH prefer a break every 3 levels, but have the longer dinner break.

As an aside - I was at the Wynn last month, and they did scheduled dinner breaks at 6:30, no matter where they were in the level (even if the level had 4 minutes left). I thought this was awesome - it made it so much easier if you want to plan anything for dinner or meet anyone. The floor staff at Borgata never seem to know when the dinner break will be before about 5pm. This can be annoying.

Thats a great idea.....in fact it's such a good idea...we do it that way...if you look at the informationals for the events, we break at 7pm nitely for the dinner break. We stop the clock no matter the time....last nite for the day 2 of event 1, the clock was stopped with 11:55 left in the round. We did this in the Winter Open also.

As far as the dinner time amount, I will consider a longer dinner break.

Hey Tab, if I show up on Sunday night to play in Monday's Deep Stack tourney, would you be able to get me a room at the tourney discounted rate for Sunday night? If I arrange with you beforehand? And how much would that cost? thanks much.

I played in the DS tourney this past weekend and I am pretty sure I still have the receipt, if that helps/matters at all.

out of curiosity, how many seats were given away in the sat/sun/mon satellites to the $7500?
04-13-2010 , 12:17 PM
So I'm leaving to play the $7500 in a few hours....evidently we get free rooms? How do we go about doing that?
04-13-2010 , 12:19 PM
How many players are registered for the $7500?

Just wondering if I might be able to catch a ride from NYC/Brooklyn tomorrow morning 4/14 for the 11am tourney? It's proving difficult to find a public transportation option to make it in time for the start. Can take the bus back. I'm clean, quiet, and puntual. Will chip in 15$ for the ride. Jdfoto@hotmail.com

thank you

12k end of day 1. Lost 80k pot second to last hand of the day, all in on the turn as 70% favorite . Good luck to everybody tomorrow.

At least I did get to watch the Charder poker show most of the day.

Table draws?
04-14-2010 , 10:14 AM
Tab,

First a big congrats on your recent deep run...nice work!

Is event #21 (1k 6max) a capped entry? I sort of remember the last 6max event having a cap but I don't recall what the number was or if it hit the wall.

thx.

Ten days until I play live poker
