Ok mister rule maker, how do you expect 400 people to eat dinner in 40 minutes, it's ******ed in my opinion, we are sitting and grinding all day long, it's absurd that we cannot have a decent hour for dinner break.

What time does registration close each night (for the next day's tournament?)

if 400 people enter a tourney 400 people dont make the dinner break, moran. personally i usually eat something the break before and than play cash or something during dinner break so i don't care either way.

if i do eat during the break im just going to the food court and 40 mins is plenty of time. i guess its still enough time to go to the buffet?? unless you really really like to grub. i don't know people are going to complain either way. won't effect me one way or the other if i ever come this series which hopefully i will at some point.

blah blah playing poker is real ****ing tough. have you ever 22 tabled online that is a mother ****ing grind. sitting around playing one hand at a time and watching tv aint really that hard. of course maybe the watching tv part is why i suck so bad at live events, but whateva.

bottom line is people like to complain even about dumb stuff.

over 700 people entered todays event, so yes there were around 400 people left at dinner give or take.

Dinner on Day 1A wasn't that crazy (though it had like 440 compared to todays 750). I ate in the food court with Fatburger/Tony Lukes and the lines weren't that bad, I didn't see the buffet though. On the escalator down to the food court some guy commented that the Borgata was "a bunch of ****ing Jews" because they didn't give out dinner vouchers, so I'm guessing they used to do this and stopped?

uhhhh...you guys realize that shower means fap right?

I have to agree with the dissents here and side on the camp of 40 minutes not being a long enough dinner break but it's not the end of the world to me either because I hardly ever eat during tournaments.

no they stopped giving vouchers I guess, but whatever, i'm not cheap on food, I also ate at fat burger, and I left with 5 minutes to go before dinner break, I was the 3rd person on fat burgers line, and it took 15 minutes to get my food, by the time I got my food there were atleast 25 people waiting to order, do the math, if my food took 15 minutes, just sayin...............

Can I share my bad beat story from yesterday's tourney? I picked up AA in EP with a BB of 400 and raised to 1100. One caller, then a reraise to 3500. Back to me and I make it 8500. Caller drops, reraiser makes it 25,000, I put him all-in for about 6k more and he calls with KK and flops a king. So instead of being up to 70k, I was left with a measly 8k.

I hate the Borgata.

Exactly my point as to why 40 minute dinner is way too short, but I guess borgata is not here to satisfy the players anymore, and maybe trying to finish the tournament as fast as possible, instead of giving the players a chance to breathe.

I feel you're pain, same thing happened to me I lost with AA all in pre flop, at level 12, for a big pot, about 70 blind pot, I'm actually a little jealous of you because atleast you didn't sit there till the end of the day only to lose with aces, atleast you were able to have a nice 1 hour dinner if you wanted, anyway I was on super tilt because I lost but atleast I got my money in super g00t, so i'm gonna get it together and give it a go for todays event 2. oh and good luck to my 2 buddies that have 200k+ stacks in event 1, hope you both get there.

Since I am a professional min-casher (pre-BWO at least) this will put a major dent in my ROI!!

super unfair and pretty ridiculous statement considering Borgata goes out of its way for the players, has phenomenal structures and provides a great venue for tournament poker

Caller drops, reraiser makes it 25,000, I put him all-in for about 6k more and he calls with KK and flops a king. So instead of being up to 70k, I was left with a measly 8k.

I hate the Borgata.

1 $127,060 2 $83,902 3 $45,630 4 $39,742 5 $33,854 6 $27,967
7 $22,079 8 $16,192 9 $11,776 10-12 $7,654 13-15 $5,594 16-18 $3,533

64-72 $1,295 73-81 $1,178 82-90 $1,060 91-100 $942

What the Hell is up with more than 1,214 players in Event 1 and only top 100 get paid. Barely top 8% pays and still you don't even double your money if you min-cash???
