This is accurate in my experiences as well. 9-9:45 or so you probably won't experience a wait longer than a couple minutes (maybe 5-10 people in line). By 10:15 or so, the line will start to build and by 10:45, it will be down past Wolfgang Puck and will likely take 30 or so minutes to make it through.

Fortunately, if you're patient, you'll get a seat because late registration is open for a long time in this tourney and the TD will make sure everybody in line at a certain point gets a seat.

Isn't the tournament going to be in the Event Center upstairs?

The tournament will be held in the Signature room and the poker room. It is located next to Bobby Flay Steak.

Where/what is the Signature Room?

Stan , the website states Forty minute dinner break after Level 8, How come the dinner break went from 1 hour down to 40 minutes?
04-10-2010 , 11:57 AM
Probably b/c of time constraints. How come you post in bold?
04-10-2010 , 12:02 PM
People complained abt the 1 hour dinner break so I am assuming they reduced to help appease the masses.
04-10-2010 , 12:12 PM
1 hour is def too long imo.

Cannot wait for the 1k next saturday!!! Anyone else gonna be down next weekend n want to play some 5/10 or 2/5???? I am going with a group of friends so we can do a friendly game im hoping.

the 40 minute dinner break sucks in my opinion, there are usually lines everywhere you go for food, on top of that people like to shower at dinner break as well to freshen up for another session, people who complain about 1 hour dinner should go play cash games, we are sitting all day grinding a tournament, I think 1 hour is a fair amount of time to give players, every poker tournament usually has 1 hour dinner break, anyone else agree on this??
04-10-2010 , 01:41 PM
I like 40 mins
04-10-2010 , 01:53 PM
You shower during the dinner break?
04-10-2010 , 02:17 PM
I think 40 min is sufficient (and I make the rules

442 for todays 1A.....1B is tomorrow.

Also a $750 + $50 Qualifier (approx 1 in 10 ) at 7pm tonite for the $7,500 East Coast Championship that starts Tuesday.

Tab,

What is the structure for the PLO on Thursday? The link on the Borgata site is not clickable.

Thanks!

I'M thinking about playing event 21, the 6-handed tournament and I've never played one of these. Do ya'll like these or is luck more of a factor? THOUGHTS Please. REASON I'm thinking about playing this is because this is the only time i can play. I may nee a room too.

04-11-2010 , 02:39 AM
Hey all quick question. I'm playing in the 50k guarantee on Wednesday. Is registration at the poker room? I'm driving down wednesday morning and probably not getting to the borgata until 10am and i really don't mind waiting in a line however I don't want to miss any hands.
04-11-2010 , 04:28 AM
During the 1500, any chance dinner break can be around 6PM so degens can play the ftops super turbo

Tab,

I didn't get to see your last hand. Tough beat? I'm here covering the event for Poker Pro, I was the media guy that said to you "What's the Borgata's ruling on that?" when the table next to yours had a dispute. Mike Beasley is chip leader going into today's final table. I think he's had some success at Borgata before.
