Anybody else notice this: http://www.theborgata.com/assets/PDF...er_open/01.pdf - Look at no.15 on bottom of page.

20k extracted from price pool with CL from either starting day getting 10k each.

Pretty unheard of for a 500 buy-in. Basically cl makes final table money.

Change of dynamics much??

Really hope this is a typo or something. I'm not against taking out of the prizepool for the day 1 CL, but 10k? That's a little much no? They are taking 10k per starting day in the Main too, but that's more reasonable since its a $3300 buy-in. Maybe if they gave 1500-2500 to CL for this, 10k each seems like a lot.

I don't think its unreasonable or anything. I just think its gonna affect the dynamics at end of days' 1 in a pretty absurd way. But they are innovators here at Borg so lets go for it..

September tho, ughhh so far away

We won't be getting the money back in time for it and stars/tilt won't be operating in the us for at least a few months so it shouldn't effect this series too much.

Re: Borgata-$500+$60...$1 MILLION GUARANTEED

Since they are stopping day 1 @ level 16, probably not in the money yet ?
Based on levels & breaks will end 12:10-12:30 am (plus 15 min to bag) ?

You obviously dont want to reach the money @ end of day 1, with 2 day ones.

So why not start day 2 @ 11am not 1pm, since day 1 not going so late ?

With later start Day 2, 50 min blinds & probably more than 16 levels necessary
to finish if 2000-2400 runners, day 2 could easily go past 4-6 am ?

They really, really should start day 2 @ 11am ?

Dont forget there is also a $ 350 + $ 50 + $100 Event 3 starting at 11AM that day.That will have huge crowd too.

Also Day 2 for event #2. I think it will create some logistic problems.

But 12 PM would be nice.

completely agree $10k is way too much...no need to take out 20 buyins...2500-5k at the most IMO
