Re: Binion's Poker Classic 2010??

Cool, I can't wait to play in a few events this year, I thought it was an exceedingly well run tournament last season when I played one event.

Re: Binion's Poker Classic 2010??

Just booked my flight for mid June. If I recall, the BPC schedule is the same as the WSOP schedule at 10th the buy-in and 2 days earlier for each event. Hope they keep that format.

I will be talking to Josh today. I actually got a little input on the schedule and so forth. It should all be still 10% the buy in and two days prior (with some variance) Looks like it will be meal vouchers rather than dinner ( like they did the first year )

Can you input not charging for beer, after paying a ****load of rake to play.

Golden Nugget was only major tourney that charged $4/beer. Free everywhere else.

Jay ...what is the difference between a meal voucher and the dinner ones they gave out last year?

Also aren't the GN tourneys going to be like $300 for the cheapest buy-in?
When does that get announced?

Thanks.

I played one event at all four of those last year and i would have to say that i had way more fun at the first three than i did at the wsop.
I find that everyone at the wsop is so serious with the big dollars that they paid to get in the tourney that they couldnt just sit back and enjoy themselves.

Hey brother.. The dinner voucher is the same as a meal voucher sorry for the confusion. The first year we had Dinner catered upstairs at break. A buffet style italian meal. It was NICE! The vouchers will be the same this year.
I also agree it is a much better atmosphere than the WSOP (I will still play wsop Obv.) The dealers are BETTER at Binions and GN ( only because of the need for dealers at WSOP they take ANYONE! )
I look forward to meeting everyone coming to the classic. I am trying to get the schedule to post up here ASAP! Still not quite finished.

What were the fields like in some of the non-HE events. For example the 500 PLO8 or 1k O8

Re: Binion's Poker Classic 2010??

As soon as I see that schedule Jay, I am heading directly to Jetblue.com and booking my flight.

Thanks for the awesome update!

I am hoping some of the NLHE events are on a Mon and Tues like last year.
