Atlantis All-In Series TV Event Mar 15th-25th Reno,NV

David,

I was also wondering if you could have thread started for our All In Poker Series on 2+2.

http://www.atlantiscasino.com/allin/assets/schedule.pdf

The main highlight points would be the televised final table of the $1060 main event, and the team challenge component with $5000 cash and additional prizes for the winning team.

Please let me know if you can do this for us, and let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Use the exact structure from the $2500 I played. Eldon brown left there as Td, but please don't mess with what he set up.

Re: Atlantis All-In Series TV Event Mar 15th-25th Reno,NV

Thanks for starting the thread Chiangsman.

The All In Poker Series will feature deep stack structures that can be found on the bottom page of the following link. http://www.atlantiscasino.com/allin/index.html

As you will see the $1060 main event features hour rounds with all the requisite half levels for plenty of play, and the final six of the final table will be on the show High Stakes Holdem.

For the team challenge component of this event all you have to do is have a minimum of two and max of five players sign up to be on a team together. Players will earn points dependent on where they place, and how large of a field the tournament they play in has. The team with the most accumulated points after the end of the series will win $5000 cash, free nights stay, steakhouse dinners, spa treatments, trophies and the opportunity to watch the filming of the High Stakes Holdem Cash Game we will have on March 26th. The last show we had featured a $100-$200 NL game that players such as Daniel Cates, Brian Rast, and Kenny Tran participated in.

We also are offering room rates at $49 on week days and $89 on week ends while available, so call 1-800-723-6500 with the offer code SPOKR12 to book.

We are looking forward to a great turnout for this event, and if anybody on this forum has any other questions or feedback it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. Being a $1060 buyin we did tweak it just a bit, but it was in response to players wanting longer rounds. We went from 45 min. to 60 min, although you do now start with 15k in chips instead of 20k since we didn't want this event to stretch out too much. All the levels should still be the same.

Although Eldon is not working this event, he has been a consultant for us and we are bringing back essentially all the same staff.

Thanks again for your help in making this event better and hope to see you and a lot of other players out here.

Unacceptable that u skip 250-500 and 2500-5000 with those stack sizes. The early jump from 200-400 to 300 600 is huge. 2000-4000 to 3000-6000 right at the money bubble kills a lot of events. Not sure why every Td wants to skip these to be honest.

Also the pdf says 40 min levels. Is that correct?

Thanks for the points. The stack size I believe is comparable to other $1000 buy-ins. We are also actually offering longer rounds at 1hr compared for example to the GSR in Reno where it is 50 min levels with also $10 higher juice, or at the Peppermill with their "interesting" structures.

Having a such a substantial starting stacks makes the jumps early on not too consequential, but your point about the 2-4k to 3-6k is taken. I apologize for the oversight, and will add a 2500-5000 level in between.

Yes, there is a typo on the pdf and it is 60 min levels as stated on the rest of the structure sheet. We will have the corrections made and posted as soon as possible. Thanks again for the feedback.

"Player begins with tournament chips valued at $12,000.
$20 staff bonus for an additional $3,000 in tournament chips."

Valued at $12,000 by whom? By the cage? If so, I'll be there -- for a very short time!

I lost my coffee with the words "Peppermill" and "structure" used in the same statement!

Thanks for catching the typo yet again Steve.

Apologies for not being perfectly clear that there is no cash value for the tournament chips.

Hope you'll be out for the event, and please keep the input coming!
