Toby,

Not sure if this the right thread

Have you received much feedback (from .uk players) about not be able to register for live events direct from their PS account funds?

I think the removal of this (not sure why) for UK players, does make it harder for players who now need to carry more cash.

I thought the new Stars card (Master card) may have been the answer to this, but alas no.
Please can you feed back to HQ, that the new promo for the Stars card would have much greater take up, if the Poker Stars branded card could be used to register for live Poker Stars events (such as UKIPTs).

Keep up the great work.

Cheers

Hi Toby,

I know youre no doubt busy with Marbella, but any news on Bristol? Schedule? Also will Sats start on the client day after Marbella finishes or sooner?

Gracias!

Sats have already started on the client, if that helps. Seat only so far though.

Hi

Bristol schedule signed off and will be up on the website soon.

From next week (once Marbella is over) scheduling will be increased on the online satellite offering for Bristol.

Thanks

Would love to know what time day ones finish (if it is no dinner finish early at around 8?), so I know if I need a hotel or not and to book a train. Thanks!

I've heard a rumour that publishing the UKIPT Bristol schedule makes you super cool and dead attractive. Fancy testing this theory?

So we pay rake and they take 3% of the prize pool too?

Welcome to modern Stars live events!

It's a much better system than trying to guilt the final table members to tip a big amount like what happens in the US.

Hi,

All UKIPT events (unless stated otherwise) are freezeouts with no re-entry available. Registration is open for four levels of 45 minutes and will close at approximately 15:00.

Thanks

#8 €300 + €30 Dublin Poker Cup, blinds are listed as 20/30/40, how is this structured?

I'm guessing it's 20mins for the first 4 levels then late reg closes, 30mins until end of day, 40min day2?

Is there any info out for the stops this season after Dublin?

Hi,

It's 20 minutes for day 1, 30 minutes for day 2, and 40 minutes for the final day. We cant publish how many levels each day as on the day 1's we play to 15% and everyone comes back in the money on day 2. We had to make these changes as this event is so big now we usually don't have space for all the players returning on day 2 if we only play to around 25/30% of the field as we used to.

Hope this clarifies.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't have confirmation at the moment unfortunately, however we are looking at early April for London and mid June for Marbella. I'll push for some answers from those who have them and post when i know something.

Thanks

I'm pre-regged for day 1b in Dublin as a qualifier. I want to come as late as possible (10 am start is brutal) and still get a full stack, best way to do that? Basically, how are the stacks of late arrivals going into play?
02-08-2016 , 07:38 AM
Well, if it's the same as my experience of Nottingham last year, you'll show up, there won't be any seats, get put on an alternates list even tho you pre-regged, then after a couple of hours they'll open up a new table and you'll get a tougher than average, non-random, seat draw at a table full of late-regs. But hey, you'll get a full stack.

Hi,

Late reg is open for 6 levels and during late reg period you will receive a full starting stack. This means you have until just after 15:00 for a full stack and you would be entering into level 7 which is 300/600/75

you can`t be serious about 10 AM start. what`s the reason for this??! players barely make it for noon schedule...
i am willing to bet anyone it will be delayed to 12 noon because very few will show up.

Hi Brickie,

Anyone pre-regged should not go on an alternate list. I cant speak for your experience at UKIPT Nottingham, as i don't recall this being brought to my attention. However, I can assure you that at PS events, unless there is a mistake/misunderstanding pre-regged players do not go onto an alternate list, so apologies for that error.

Thanks
