1) Where is Ireland on the UKIPT? You've gone from 3 stops such as Cork, Galway and Dublin from early seasons to 0?

2) How many of these stops will take extra money from the prizepool for staff.

Dublin leg is early next year.

But for what season is it?

tbh the one fault I've had with the UKIPT is the seasons haven't been defined very well (i.e calendar year).

This season they've spread them out well with 2 month gaps but I think many would agree that having 6 week gaps and including 8 stops on the tour (Ireland legs) wouldn't be a bad thing.

Glad to see the IOM stop still on the calendar. This one was probably on the fence to being cut from the tour but it has some unique benefits to Stars and players if it gets promoted right.

This season is running into next year as it has done before. Agree it's a little bit of a mish-mash with no clear definition.

I'd imagine another London leg at the end of the year too during EPT London.

unless there is no EPT London in season 12 and the UKIPT schedule is a spoiler

60 mins clocks on day 1 are so 2011

What about the Nottingham schedule? Overseas players are burning money waiting.
02-27-2015 , 04:53 PM
Why/how are they burning money waiting? I'm confused.
Serious question, btw..
02-27-2015 , 10:11 PM
-airfare, hotels more expensive with every passing day
-not playing sats they're +EV in maybe as well?

Hi,

We have received more feedback about our new structure and it has been very positive with the majority surveyed being in favour.

However, we feel we can improve on the structure without compromising the schedule, so for Nottingham this is the confirmed structure

• 45 minutes on day 1, 12 levels
• 60 minutes day 2, 10 levels
• 60 minutes final day
• Starting stack remains at 25k

Level Small Blind Big Blind Ante
1 50 100
2 75 150
3 100 200 25
4 150 300 25
5 200 400 50
6 250 500 50
7 300 600 75
8 400 800 100
9 500 1,000 100
10 600 1,200 200
11 800 1,600 200
12 1,000 2,000 300
13 1,200 2,400 300
14 1,500 3,000 400

Tournament Directors Discretion

We will continue to survey at future UKIPT’s

The Nottingham schedule is with DTD at the moment and i have been promised a response by Monday. I will be pushing to announce by next week.

However I can tell you the High Roller will be a 3k, 2 day event starting on the April 14th.

The Main event will have 4 start days, April 12, 15, 16 and 17, day 2 18th, final day 19th. The 12th is for local players who have difficulties getting time off work during the week, we are trialing this. Re-entry details unconfirmed for the moment.

Thanks

Toby

Is the Bristol main event a re-entry?

Cheers

Bristol schedule would be good asap if possible, in summer so need to know if it worth holding out for. Presumably it will have most of the same games as Nottingham etc..

Cheers

Where can I find details of the Irish events?
04-27-2015 , 09:54 PM
Any information on the off-poker events/schedule for the PokerStars Marbella Festival? Any activities for the players? Welcome cocktail/pre-tournament party?

Thanks!

Hi,

The only events currently announced are on the UKIPT Page. I don't have any more info on other events at the moment.

Thanks

I went to this tourney last year from Canada and it really is a fun time. The Estrellas tour always delivers lots of extras and I'd def. recommend this stop for players looking for a vacation/drinking/playing poker and probably in that order.

Last year they had 2 extra free drinking party nights with big TV screens to watch the World Cup. I've been informed that attending my daughters graduation from Kindergarten is somehow mandatory so sadly I have to skip.

Thanks for the info. I am very excited to participate this year. My only experience in a big event was a Brazilian Series of Poker tournament last year and it was a blast. Can't wait to see what the PokerStars Marbella Festival has in store.
