Hi,

There are often general questions that players ask about the UKIPT so I have created this thread here. This will also help us to keep each seperate event thread concentrated more on that specefic event.

+1 to David's question, would be helpful to at least have provisional dates for the stops in the first half of 2015

Also, are all the buyins back to £770 for the season?

Is re-entry going to available for the main events at any of the stops?

What is the structure going to be now that the main events have switched from 4 to 3 days?

will the structure be the same for every ukipt? if so i most likely will not attend any of them this season...

plz change it back, it was perfect how it was (w absence of 250/500 even)

nottingham has cash, dublin, marbella also fine as outside UK, probably will have to move inside casinos in Edi/Bristol. Is there any casino capable of holding UKIPT in Edi?

Structure change means rather than trying to qualify for every leg (except Marbella) I'm literally just going to play Bristol. Maybe. Heck, the local casino's £200+20 has a comparable structure to this pile now.

Players with Plat+ status can buy into events with FPP's.

When and where is the next stop?
When can we expect to see online sats?
Will hotels be brought back? (packages)

As for the structure this year I agree with nearly everyone that it should go back to 1 hour. The UK is an extremely competitive market for Live Events and other tours run similar buy ins with a superior structure. Talking with random people while playing some sats and the change to 40 minutes was not lost on them and they too don't like it.

So are seat + hotel packages no more? They were a great reduction in expenses. When you gotta fly, seat + £300 doesn't cover much.

I'm presuming that they didn't do them for London because the prices are so high.
They'll be back, no doubt. Don't hold your breath if you want decent goodie bags if you qualify online though..

Lol at Stars just ignoring all the criticism and hoping it'll die down and be forgotten about. Even if they're not going to change it back despite all the disappointment then at least some comment on why they've changed it would be nice...

Also the buy in for Nottingham says 770 online but all the online sats say 1 seat for every 1100...
