Hello, my name is Ruslan Prydryk, I took 8th place in the main event in Deauville. In the casino cashier, I asked for 50,000 euro to put into my account Poker Stars/ However So far I have not got the money. Contacted me from the casino of Deauville and me informed that they could not put it on my account Poker Stars and have asked me to send bank details. However, until now I have the money and never got it. Help me translating my winnings into my account poker stars.

Sigh ept san remo is scheduled directly at same time as the WPT $10k in florida. I realize it's eu vs us but come on, that field has to draw quite a few americans who would def want to play both...
02-21-2011 , 08:01 AM
when will SCOOP be?
02-21-2011 , 08:51 AM
According to the scoop web site which has a countdown for 2011 scoop I quickly estimated (could be wrong by a cpl days?) that it would start sunday may 1 at 1 PM eastern.
02-21-2011 , 09:03 AM
Good choice of venue IMO. Having the Grand Final conflict with the SCOOP is a disaster though if that is in fact happening.
02-21-2011 , 11:36 AM
DAMN APRIL IS BUSYYYYYYY
02-21-2011 , 09:47 PM
I'll be in Florida with Spanish people, close enough

Hi All,

Cross posting Tatsu's thoughts from the EPT Madrd threads...

A lot of consideration went into selecting an EPT Grand Final for this year, and we're both proud and happy that Casino Gran Madrid agreed to host the event - which we expect to again be the largest poker festival ever held in Europe.

Some of the reasons why we believe Madrid is an excellent location for this event, and a significant step forward in the evolution of the EPT:
  1. The Madrid casino is a beautiful venue with one of the largest gaming floors in Europe. This allows us to set up 100+ tables for the Main & Side events - allowing more players to participate (and larger prize pools). We wanted to accommodate players who in previous years have rocked up to the registration area as some events have been starting, only to learn they were on an alternate list or no more seats were being sold. The venue in MC only allowed a total of 70 tables, and they were split across 2 areas.
  2. They have great cash games at the Casino (certain to be particularly juicy during the EPT), and very good dealers to run them. In MC we were not able to run cash games for our players and this resulted in a lot of complaints.
  3. In Spain we can spread almost any game we want, and that will be reflected in the full side event schedule being released shortly. In MC we were only able to run Hold'em.
  4. The Casino Gran Madrid has great food! Among the best food in any casino in Europe. For players and our staff, this is obviously important. And in Madrid the late-night food options are incredible and varied. Think of it as a tasty opportunity to explore the wonderful world of Tapas!
  5. The nightlife and culture of Madrid make it one of Europe's leading tourist destinations. Whether for yourself, or friends and family you'll be bringing along, it's worth taking some time to check it out.
  6. Generally speaking, Europeans are not required to pay taxes on poker winnings from tournaments held within the EU. Monte Carlo is not in the EU, and in surveys that tax issue was the single most-often cited reason players had for why they chose not to play in previous years (the second most-cited reason was the €30 cheeseburger). This will be the first year the EPT Grand Final is being held within the EU, and the tax benefits will result in a big participation boost, particularly from Scandinavian players.
  7. There are 3 direct flights a day from Nice! After EPT San Remo, you can either spend a few days on the beach or just fly direct to Spain.
  8. In respect to the comments about the distance of the casino to downtown Madrid, note that EPT Hotels will have several options to choose from. While there are no 5-Star hotels next to the casino, there are several 3-Star hotels quite close to it. So players will be able to choose whether they prefer luxury or proximity. And we will be runningg LOTS of shuttlebuses back/forth to/from the PS qualifiers' hotel to the casino, about every 30 minutes throughout the day.
  9. Online satellites will be running on PokerStars.fr and PokerStars.it, as well as PokerStars.com and PokerStars.net. This means that players from the emerging poker markets in Europe will be well-represented in Spain and it should be a colourful multicultural event!
Just a few things to consider during this discussion...

Hi All,

In case this got missed, PokerStars partnered with Shamballa Jewels for EPT Copenhagen and they are providing a bracelet to the winner of EPT Copenhagen. It was specially designed for this event and looks really nice! It is on display outside the tournament room.

Check out the pics (because I am too lazy to Imageshack ) from EPT Facebook page...

Anyone know how Easter (in Italy, no less!!!) will affect EPT San Remo turnout? Has this taken place on Egg day before, and what's with the 800 cap when 1200+ played last year???

idk did they move Sam Remo to the week before???

Hi AA,

Doesn't conflict with Easter. We are a couple days after.

I hope to have all three remaining schedules up on Monday. Berlin might go out tomorrow but that's 50/50. It needs one more signature and I don't think I will get it for tomorrow.

Hi All,

EPT Awards update -

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/EuropeanPokerTour

EPT Player of the Year: Fernando Brito (1st) extends his lead by 400 points after winning the NLHE Turbo Bounty side event at EPT Copenhagen. He is now 1,225 points ahead of 2nd place John O’Shea who will need some serious legwork to catch up to the runaway leader.

New additions to the top 10 are Martin Jacobson from Sweden (previously 12th) and John Eames from UK (previously 40th). Michael Tureniec from Sweden earned 800 points for his EPT Copenhagen Main Event win but adding to his previous 500 points is now placed at 14th overall.

With nearly 500,000 EPT points already distributed over ¾ of season 7 we are now reaching the final stages leading up to the Grand Final in Madrid this May. An estimated 150,000 EPT points are still to be handed in the next events and Fernando Brito cannot physically win them all. Who will rack up the most points in the final stages and who will clinch the Awards and the coveted trophies?

Best EPT Country Award: With all 9 Spanish qualifiers failing to cash at EPT Copenhagen, Spain’s percentage dropped from 18,78% to 18,02%. This however is still enough to hold on to the leading spot in the Best EPT Country race.

Closely behind Spain in the 17% range are Norway, UK and Finland. Norway made a grand entrance to the top 10 having 20 players cash out of a total 112 Norwegian entries to EPT Main Events this season. United Kingdom has been providing a solid performance for the past events and firmly holds to a top 3 spot again while Finland’s performance in Copenhagen sees them leap to 4th place and into the very tight chasing pack. Elsewhere in the ranking Romania fails to follow through their opening performance and is dropped dangerously to 9th. Italy, USA, Russia and Netherlands maintain their percentage but are unable to improve their position.

EPT Best Online Qualifier: Martin Jacobson from Sweden holds on this his lead in the Online race and adds 180 points to this count by qualifying online to EPT Copenhagen and min-cashing at the Main Event. His direct follower Anton Ionel from Romania also qualified online (earning 100 points) but failed to cash at the Main Event and so Jacobson is now 640 points clear in first place. But the current EPT Best Online Qualifier Pierre Neuville from Belgium has qualified for all 9 EPT events of season 7 and min-cashed at EPT Copenhagen to add 180 points to his count. He leapfrogged Dmitry Vitkind from Russia and Konstantinos Nanos from Greece and is now lurking dangerously behind in 3rd place.

Good looking schedules Neil!!

Any idea when qualifiers can know what starting day they are given for Snowfest? Also If I am arriving a day earlier than my guest will they have any problem using the pokerstars shuttle. I listed their name on the Reg Online form. Thanks for the help.
