If an event has rebuys or re-entries, it is written in the title such as Event 7, 16, 51. I did spot a missing sentence in Event 6 PokerStars Cup - this should also be next flight re-entry (like #51) and will be fixed.

Neither of the Main's (either National Tour or EPT) are re-entry or rebuy.

Hi all,

Short announcement of a new addition to our tournament schedules . We were playing around with PCA 2017 Schedule and found a workable slot for a two day $25K PLO High Roller (Day 2/3 of the PCA Main). With 10 levels of late reg (like EPT HR's) it will allow late reg until after Day 2 of the ME has finished playing. It will also have 45 minute levels on Day 1 and 60 minute levels on Day 2.

We liked it so much we went back and added it to the existing EPT13 spots as well. So there will now be a €10K PLO High Roller on Day 2/3 of the ME in Barcelona, Malta and Prague It will have a 25K buyin for Monaco/PCA with a 10K buyin at all other locations.

We only have 10am starts where we had to place them and nothing random about 1A, we wanted to allow for 1A of both Estrellas and EPT to be at 12:00 so players have a choice in their ME starting times rather than it only being 10am.

Amazing schedule for Barcelona.

Please consider some additions:

I think there is space for more satellites to the 50k shr. High stake players should be in town because of the 10k. One of the 18th and one on the 19th at around 5pm-7pm 5k (15min?) turbos would work. These should also be 8-max imo, if they are not already

All the late night hyperturbos would be much more fun to play if they were 8 handed. The 5k hyper turbo, and even more so the 1k superhyperturbo should be 6/7 handed imo. I think field size would increase slightly and it would still be a great hourly rake for the casino/ept in the short-term (maybe its even the same/better from a business point of view as ppl play more hands short handed and bust quicker?), as well as keeping nearly all of us happier overall. The supersonic became 10x better as soon as it was changed to 6max imo.

I couldn't find a separate thread for EPT Barcelona questions so I decided to ask here:

I am planning to play the Estrellas main event day 1b or 1c, but I will be able to arrive in Barcelona on Aug 17 late in the evening (let's say I can get to the casino around 10 p.m.). What are my chances to register for 1b without being an alternate? If it's too late for 1b can I register for 1c on Aug 17 evening? Also is there a possibility to pay the registration fee by credit card or it's cash only?

Thanks for the feedback!

We'll take a look for the 18th. The 19th we know there is no table space available at all. The assumption is that Estrellas 1C will run alternates and so will PokerStars Cup 1D (since they have for the last few seasons). We might be able to squeeze it into the 18th, I'll check with Toby as 1B of Estrellas had alternates last year also but the Cup didn't. They are 8 max I believe.

I know the bigger buyin late night Hypers are already 8 handed, I'll forward it to Toby to see what our space looks like for the others. As far as 6/7/8 handed, that one is a tougher nut to crack because there is definitely a debate amongst players as to which is a more appealing format. The 2016 WSOP 5K 6 max got 541 and the normal 5K got 863. I know they are at different points of the schedule, but it is still a 59.5% increase moving from 6 max to full ring. In 2015 though the 6 max got 30.3% more entries than the 5K full ring. I'll chat with Toby and see if we can adjust 1 or 2. If not, we'll chat with a bunch of people in Barcelona for more opinions and make adjustments in Malta / Prague.

I don't know as Toby is finishing the Schedules of Play (SOP) for Barcelona this week, we made a couple of tweaks for EPT13 so it has been slightly delayed. The SOP's should be up by the end of next week though (Aug 5).

Also, 6max for the final 36 players of the EPT Main Events is the future! I often watch the live stream when I am not playing, and its so much better for viewers also. Aussie Millions has done it for years. I know many people who prefer it, and have never once heard anyone complain in the 4 years i have been travelling to Melbourne.

New pslive portal system looks like it will be really good. Next step get the tourney ticket in EPT app ?

Nation - 1518 - I agree and disagree Moving to 6 max isn't a simple answer in my opinion. Even for something like our High Rollers we have had players say if we made it 6 max they wouldn't play. Changing the fundamentals of play midway through a major tournament, to a format that (realistically) favours the Pros over the Recreationals, is a pretty significant change. But I also agree that short-handed poker can be a lot of fun to watch on the stream. More action, more pots, more hands. So i'm a bit on the fence. Thanks for all your thoughts though, all the feedback goes into the review sections for our meetings.
