8th Arizona State Championship (1 Mil Prize Pool) August 10-14

8TH ANNUAL ARIZONA STATE POKER CHAMPIONSHIP
ARIZONA STATE POKER CHAMPIONSHIPS - $1 MILLION PRIZE POOL
Sign ups begin May 1st at 12pm.

Details:
Sign ups available starting noon on Tuesday, May 1, 2012
Tournament buy-in: $1,000 plus $70 at time of sign up.
Buy-in provides $15,000 worth of tournament chips
Unlimited entries
Prize pool: $1,000,000 guaranteed by the Jackpot Promotional Fund (JPF) based on a minimum of 975 entries
Tournament Schedule:
Day 1: Friday, August 10 play begins at 9am
Day 2: Saturday, August 11 play begins at 9am
Day 3: Sunday, August 12 play begins at 9am
Semifinals - Day 4: Monday, August 13 play begins at 9am
Finals - Day 5: Tuesday, August 14 play begins at 10am
Payout Structure (based on 1,000 entries):
1st place: $208,300 plus the championship bracelet and trophy
2nd place: $127,500 plus trophy
3rd place: $85,000 plus trophy
4th place: $58,000
5th place: $42,000
6th place: $32,700
7th place: $27,000
8th place: $22,000
9th place: $17,500
Players can sign up at the box office by calling (480) 850-7734.
This is a 5-day event; a number of participants (to be determined) will play on days 1, 2 and 3 until 6pm to determine semifinalists.
Participants who are eliminated on day one and/or day two are allowed one (1) re-buy of $1,070.00. Re-buys are only good for days two and three.
Last Year had 1k+ total entries with over 200k to 1st place...

Overlay m8. I played it a couple years ago when casino az was doing it and it had 1M gauranteed as long as 900 people played.

i wasn't going to say anything because the first rule of fight club, etc. but yeah theres a 130, 235, 350 and 550 running the days before the main

The word GTD is a joke but no matter how its advertised if they get the 1k entries like the last 2 years then it will have a 1mil prize pool which is as big as any other state tournament that I know of...
